NMIt review

College is Little out of the main city that causes many problems. College is 3 kms away from main route city buses. So you have to book a cab or you should have a bike to go out.Market is 3 kms away from college.

Exams held semester wise. NMIt is a autonomous college which gives us many facilities and banefits. There are only 4 to 5 college which are autonomous in Bangalore. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of technology is VTU affiliated.

Placement is good , there is almost 80% placement for CS and IAS Branch of average package of 3.8 lakh. Other Branches also have good placement except mechanical and civil Branch. College provides internship to few students.

Almost every festival is celebrated in our college. And we have technical and cultural fest once in a year which is very famous among the college in Bangalore. This fest is called annadhyanta. Many celebrities were invited for performance in this 4 days fest.

Yes fee is feasible. Fee is more for the students who got admission through comedk or through management, CET students have very less fee. Only Karnataka students can give CET exam. Non Karnataka students have to give comedk.

There are scholarship for the branch toppers. But this scholarship is not a very big amount. It's very less compared to the fee. Students from JnK have special qoata in seats. They get scholarship from Indian government.

The are many clubs in which you can be a part of. You can join any club according to your interest. College is good in sports. Many tournaments has been won in football, cricket , badminton and basketball.

Yes I am staying in hostel. There are four hostel for boys and two for girls. First year students have separate hostel. The infrastructure of hostels is good. You have stay two in a room or 4 in a room depending upon the hostel you are opting.

Senior students and alumni are very helpful. You can share any issues to them they will surely help you out. There are no raggings in the college. College have antiragging committee where students can file case if in case someone rag students.

I got admission through comedk exam. Through yhis exam you can get admission in all engineering college in Karnataka. this exam is not very tough , mains level preparation is enough for this exam. But to get a good college and a Branch you have to get rank at least under 8k.

Faculty is quite good. There are regular classes. You have to maintain at least 75% attendence to get elligibility for the exam, which teacher look after. Each student have a mentor which solve all the issue of the student.
