Remarks

Overall positive and I recommend that if the students are enthusiastic to learn medicine, they should not think twice to join KPC and should never think of it's fees. It's really a good college for those who wants to learn

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a tough course where it needs lot of hardworkings and dedications. The exam structure is on basis of 9 semesters which is covered in 4.5 years and after each year there is a university exam.

Placement Experience

After MBBS the student either can do for post graduation or can practice both in government hospitals and also in private. After MD the student can then also opt for superspecialzation and can also go for foreign country.

College Events

Annual fest, Independence Day, Foundation Day, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Cricket tournament, Football tournament, Medical quizes, Medical seminars and debates, General debates, Ramp walks, Holi and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a bit expensive but it's worth spending in MBBS is justified cause the profession of MBBS have huge prospects in future and the doctors really earn big these days, also there are chances to go abroad for practices

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such facilities provided by our college as it is a private medical college. But they are cooperative and they helps in everyway so that the student can avail student loan from the banks hasslefree

Campus Life

There is facilities of football ground,cricket ground, badminton court, basketball court, indoor games court, gymnasium, the labs are well equipped with latest instruments and are well maintained too.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is fine with all the basic facilities like fan, bed, almirah, study table and chair, lights, guysers in bathroom, well maintained toilet facilities, mess serves good and higenic food, seniors are good.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are helpful in both academic way and also the motivate us a lot. The alumni network is strong and they always help for the betterment of the college. Many of the alumni are settled well as good medical practitioners in their field

Admission

By counseling procedure of West Bengal state government on basis of NEET entrance exam. Firstly we have to sit for the NEET which takes place once a year on national basis and the counseling goes after the results and rank list publication both centrally and by the respective state government.

Good faculty strength and they are helpful in every possible ways. Every department have their own professors and demonstrators and the HODs. The teachers are very much qualified and they are always ready to clarify our doubts

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.
