Remarks

Positive at all but not so good infrastructure but it is under progressing. New departments are in construction & Bus facility is also available in the campus which is a good side & local students also use university bus se a medium of transport.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is divided in 4 semester pattern, Pressure of study is always on.Two consecutive internal exam followed by semester exams along with all practical papers, but the lab facility is not satisfactory. The syllabus is NET oriented. Up to 2nd semester there are five theory papers including Organic,Physical, Inorganic,Polymer(1st sem)/Chemical Binding(2nd Sem)& Analytical Chemistry, four mandatory practical papers are also there (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Analytical). From 3rd sem students are divided according specialization (Organic, Inorganic, physical) based on merit & choice filling by student. In 3rd sem only 1 practical paper of chosen specialization & 3core papers & 2 special papers & in 4th sem 3 special papers & 2 core papers & Project work. Internal exam is of 30marks & Sem is of 60marks & 5marks each for attendence & Assignment.

Placement Experience

In final year university placement shell arrange Placement for students. After clearing aptitude,Group discussion & Personal Interview we will be selected for the job. In this year Macleody company come for placement. College doesn't provide internship but project faculty position is available.University arrange some seminar.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for each semester pattern. But it is feasible for all type of students. 1st sem + admission fee= 5800 2nd semester = 3250 3rd semester= 4000 4th semester = 3550 Excluding bank charges. Payment must be in online mode.

Fees and Financial Aid

State scholarship is available & Central one also. But university provide a number of good scholarship for needed one sc/st|/economically poor/PH students. A student securing 1st rank having 75% attendence will awarded 10K in a year. All details are available at university website ggu.ac.in & Administrative building of the University.

Campus Life

Moderator to good. Lab facility is not so good. All chemicals are not available. During project work we may have to buy some chemicals by your own money. Extracurricular activities are not so much but sports are good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good but costly enough. You have to pay around Rs.2800 monthly for food,but they will provide food 4times in a day. Room rent is 100per month & each room have 2 students capability. All necessary furnitures are provided. Bathroom are clean on daily basis but not attached it is dormitory. All provided food is veg.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior Students are helpful. They will guide you in every point. Alumni network is not so good. Also the phD scholar guide you in project work.overall all seniors are good in behavior & co-operative.

Admission

The University arrange entrance test VET every year. Depend on the score & rank they called for counselling. After counseling & documents verification you will get admission in this university. I was securing 3rd rank in entrance test of VET & got admission in Msc chemisty 2017.

Some teachers are helpful & co-operative.Lab attendant are helpful also.Departmental Librarian is too good in nature.Office staff are moderate to good in behaviour.Central Librarian are professional.

Placement Experience:

Collages offered placement but I can't join any type of placement. They trained all students for their placement i.e. they perform good in his interview and they got selected. Every year many students selected in different different branches and their poster are shown in campus .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has 4 semesters and is divided as follows.. 1st semester has 5 theory and 2 practical (general introduction to forensic science and ciriminology , crime scene management, instrumental analysis in forensic science, forensic biology, and serology ) 2nd sem also has 5 theory subjects and 2 practicals. Meanwhile syllabus for 3rd and 4th semester has not been provided. The teaching method is traditional chalk and talk . The semester has 2 CTS and finals at the end of 6 months .

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There are many placement drives happening in college each month. As there are engineering departments here so there are no lack of placement drives. I have plan to clear UGC net exam to get into lectureship.
