Remarks

I have to say that my college is awesome, there are faults in every college, and I am not saying that my college have not, there are cons like the food is vegetarian only and no non veg food is allowed inside the campus, apart from that, everyone in the c

Entrance Preview

COMED-K, i.e Consortium for medical, engineering and dental colleges of Karnataka. I scored a rank of roughly around 25,000 out of 50,000 students and chose to get into this college. I had an option of Nagarjuna college of engineering too, but I had the chance and time to visit both the colleges and see them for myself, after looking at SET-JU, there was no chance that I was not going to take what they were offering me. It had a brilliant infrastructure and the staff member were helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is a little bit different from the other colleges in Karnataka, as this is a deemed university, and we don't come under VTU, which is generally the university under which every other college in Karnataka works the course is very easy to grab on and very easy to clear but requires hard work to secure good grades.

Internships Opportunities

Infosys, Crimson Logic, Cognizant, TCS, INFOSYS has a campus connect program in our college, via which they train us before only for the upcoming job interviews, there are other companies that has visited our college too, but these are the notable ones the general stipend for that is something that beyond my knowledge.

Placement Experience

3

INFOSYS, Cognizant, TCS, L&T Info, Tech Mahindra, Crimson Logic, these are the companies I have seen my senior work in infosys- ?3.5-5.5 Lakh per annum cognizant- ?3.25-4.5 lakh per annum, TCS- ?3.4- L lakh per annum L&T Info- ?4 lakh, Tech mahindra- ?4-6lakh per annum, Crimson Logic- ?5-7 Lakh per annum.

College Events

4

Every department has their own cultural and event management team comprised of one of the faculty from that respective department and the students from the department from various years, every departments group creates an event monthly and everyone from other departments too are invited to participate in it. Every department conducts events like Coding marathon, guest lectures, Computer gaming competitions, treasure hunts, etc apart from this the college has their own festival called Infinity, it goes for three days and it is huge, other colleges come and participate in the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure differs for students who come via CET and those who come via COMED-KCET students have a relatively very less feeon the other hand students coming from comed-k pay a hefty amount, but that's common in every college in Karnataka. It's feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every major national bank provides education loans for our college I don't know much about it as I have paid the fees.

Campus Life

4.5

This college has the best sports facility in Bangalore amongst every other college, i can say that because i play for the college football team and have visited many other colleges to play for my college, we have world class football field, we have tremendous cricket ground, cricket ground where once Royal challengers bangalore used to practice, we have olympic size swimming pools, and world class gymnasiums and aerobics facility, the gender ratio is slightly male dominant. Our campus is spread across a sprawling 580 Acres( I might be a lil bit up or down here), and is full of greenery, one just falls in love with the greenery of it.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't stay in hostel, can't rate it. but from the looks of it, it looks amazing, have heard from friends staying in hostel about it, the food is pure vegetarian, but has a lot of variety in it, had the chance to eat the food once or twice, it was not so

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are really the most chilled out and the most knowledgeable persons you would meet on this campus, there's nothing like ragging or stuff like that, but they do they ask you to introduce yourself in the most funniest way that can be possible, believe me, it's fun, they are really good when it comes to helping one, they get you all the notes and books whenever you need it, and basically they are like super cool.

Exam Structure

Internal test are their every month after the session starts, and we have labs two days a week, the days are chilled out, not so hectic after a day at college.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
