Course Curriculum Overview

I have great interest in aviation sectors and specially in aerospace department and hence I chose this secore so that I can take part in national aeronautics department and more specifically I want to take part in ISRO

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are quite often. Being a first year student I donot have a great knowledge of that but yeah from seniors I have heard that they offer a program for 2-3 months and then you are eligible for internships

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester students are eligible for the campus placements and from second semester, we are eligible for internship. After this btech degree my plan is to go for higher studies and persuing mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for Aerospace Engineering is 1.75 lakhs per semester. Hostel fees 48,000 per semester and mess fee of 25,000 per semester. So total of about 2.28 lakhs per semester that means YEARLY an amount of 4.5 lakhs per year. Computer science has a course fee of 2 lakhs and others same. There is a thing called examination fee which is examination registration fee of RS 1000 taken before end sem exam. Morever there is a scholarship if u can crack the entrance exam of KIIT under rank 1000.

Campus Life

Campus life is very pleasant. Fests are being conducted in almost every month. Classrooms have centralised AC. We have a central library for self study and persuing books. Society groups like singing , drama , dancing are there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel costs 96000 per year for non ac rooms 3 bedded. Along with mess fee of 50000 per year. Moreover hostel have strict rules and if you break them you need to pay fines. Hostel wardens are cooperative.

Admission

This college provides a great structure and faculty is also good. Moreover this college fees is affordable. To add this college provides a great sector for sports and cultural activities. For these, I opted kiit

Faculty

Here personal mentorship is provided with a ratio of 20-25 : 1 (students: teachers) which helps us to sort any kind of problem. Great faculties like mechanical, cse and they are very cooperative. Yearly 2 semester exams are taken

Night Life

Gyms are there inside as well as outside the campus. There are enormous street vendors who give quality food. Morever during night , the walks are a type of healing process. People can go badmin courts and more at night

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After getting a degree if I am able to land a job the ok otherwise I will start my preparation for the defence sector or civil services.

Placement Experience:

I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

Placement Experience:

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.
