Course Curriculum Overview
I am very interested to get into VLSI domain , semiconductor industry , this was the reason i want to get into Electronics and Communication Engineering . As theres a lot of theory part included in it , i hope to see the practical aspects too .
Internships Opportunities
BOSCH , VISA , DELL , BMC , Goldman Sachs , CISCO and many more companies came for the intership opportunities available in our college with stipend varying from 35 k to 90 k . There are several projects students take upon .
Placement Experience
5th semester students take up the internship exams provided by the companies and whoever qualifies gets into internship at the end of 6th semester and for the placement 7th semester students are eligible. There are multi companies visiting our campus . Highest of 2024 was 33L CTC for 4 students from ECE given by Atlassian Company . almost 80% students gets placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
My year-wise fees : 45000 including all such fees as it is a merit cum based fee called the Aided seat in my college through KCET. Some of our batchmates fees includes 100000 unaided seat and management seat depends on the course they opt for.
Campus Life
I am very active in fests and club events in our college , every year there are 2 great fest happening thats one cultural fest called UTSAV and one tech fest PHASESHIFT . Library is extraordinary in our college . One full floor is dedicated to library .
Admission
I chose only BMSCE because thats a top college in Bangalore through KCET , BMSCE is near to me in terms of travelling compared to other colleges like RVCE , PESU . I only applied to BMSCE so i didn't get rejected from any college. BMSCE takes admissions through COMEDK and KCET .
Faculty
Faculty is good , they are approachable . They are good in teaching the courses offered in each semester and finish the syllabus on time letting students to study for the sem end in a proper time stipulated. There's nothing i like and dont like about the faculty in my point of view . Each sem has 3 internals and 1 sem end exam .
Night Life
As i mentioned , library is extraordinary . Gym area is small though its good , hostel is good . Campus timings is from 8 am to 9pm . Its very safe outside the college campus . Overall good place no complain about it.
