Course Curriculum Overview

4

In relevance our physics course is basically for people aiming for further studies as in masters or people gling into teaching but the new developed course is more job oriented a method tooi fir it is to teach only english needed for speech writing etc whereas we had to learn literature like poems ,plays, stories etc.

Internships Opportunities

4

The scheme that introduced internship to our students was brought last year and since the syllabus changed its going to be removed so our batch will be the last to do internships i still haven't got mine ,it will probably be with KSEB(kerala state electric board)since we are studying electronics my internship will be this month or next i am looking forward to it. We were given projects for electronics like constructing a working circuit for certain electronic devices thats due next month stilk working on it.Its not that hard its just the basics

Placement Experience

3

From semester 5 students become eligibke for placements No offers were made for me beacuse i am still in 4th sem The highest package i saw a senior of mine get is about 1.5 lakh from a bank and the average package is about 50k The percentage of students getting placements are anout 20 percent My plans are to pursue further studies Master and then Phd

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our college in general is not very expensive for aided students but it is a bit expensive for self financing students i dont know about their fee structure but for me an obc student it is pretty moderate i would say i had to pay around 11000 rupees during admition and a for each say about 5000-6000 but i had egrantz so the consetion amount was credited into my bank account which then can be used to oay the fee but during the starting semesters i didn't get it but after about three semester about 18,000 rupees credited to my account which i used to pay the sem fee the sem fee had a normal fee additional something and a union fee thats about it.

Campus Life

4

In our college most of the programs are held on the even number semester like 2,4 etc that's around November december january etc main programs held are union day a celebrity guest is invited and the program is held by the newly elected union basically to show theri strength , and the other days like the arts day , sports day, also their are department wise programs held to showcase our talents like fests, talent shoes etc

Admission

I the main reason i choose my college is to stay close to home my parents was going through hardtimes i wanted to be near them and help them. I didn't try for otger colleges because i was sure i would get it here . Admission process was simple mainly beacuse i had my brother help me out he was a student there we had to fillout a form submit it along with copies of adhaar, 12th and 10th certificate, and they asked me too submitt my original 12 th certficate later for verification we had to oay an 11000 rupees fee at the beginning. Thats about it

Faculty

4

Faculty had an hod ,asst hod and about 10 professors teaching and mentorship was not bad . course structure is simple we had a main course (physics ),2 supplementary course(maths and chemistry,a language course we coukd choose between malayalam ,hindi, syriac and english .we had sem exams on 80 or 70 marks depending on the internal marks alloted to the course for example physics had 30 marks for internal including lab assignments and viva so the main exam had 70 marks but for english we had 80 marks exam becyase only 20 marks was alloted to the intetnals we also had lab exams, internal exams and thats about it

Interview Experience

4

I didn't have to face any grouo discussion or written test i you consider talking with the vice principal before admission to be an interview the i had one the principal just asked me to be on my good behaviour and stuff that faculty says to their students. I didn't prepare for anything just winged it.criteria i mean i already said it above onky criteria was 12th,10th marks nothing else

Night Life

4

There is no nightlife in our college only eveneing or afternoonlife we have a gym we can access but its kerala no one is going to the gym early in the day in campus except the sports quota students .cafeterias in our college are good i like this nice egg puffs in one of them joints but they ckukd work a bit more on their hospitality .Me personally don't know anything about the hostels or hostel life but heard from freinds its pretty chill wardens are strict like they should be ,they have alloted study time and all that . Campus timing is from 9 am to 2:30 it was 10 to 4 but was changed to support students who have parttime jobs. library is good we have one central library for the whole college thats about three stories tall filled to the brim with books we can also access ebook through our linways . Hangout spots i woukd say near the ground there is a gallery with shade thats popular other than that there is one tree that people join around and do programs called thanalkuttam

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
