Teachers are good and helpful whenever we have doubt the solve they gave us more time than required,they provide extra reading materials and other whenever we stuck in anything they always support us ,and if I talk about overall our teachers are goo

College infrastructure or not much good, classes are small and there are shortage of benches and chairs

Ok so this course is good,I chose this course because in future I can have future in dietics Overall the course are good It was also helpful for those who wants to Improve there cooking skills

So we have our freshers party in January Diwali mela name is jalsa it was a very good mela I enjoyed it Than we have our miss drc Annual fest majari. And there are so many societies in our college like zenith the western dance society

Admission

I choose this college because First of all it came in north campus Second it's s girls college so there is no safety issues Overall infrastructure are good We have a very big playground we have table tennis court and many more

Faculty

So we have our exam of 90 marks written exam And we have our one main practical before the semester exam And normal practicals every Monday in which we have to do cooking in which we have to make dishes which our teacher gives us to make

Night Life

So our north campus is very for its legacy You can spend time exploring north campus Sudama tea stall Tom uncle maggie point Suneel shetty ki bhej puri and many more There is kamla nagar market Hudson lane North campus is safe for night

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

It is one of the best college of Delhi university among 10 colleges of the university for my course that is Geography honours. All the faculty members are of good nature and experienced in their subjects

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. North or south DRC is the best

The admission process was so long and time taking.There is entrance exam that is CUET for admission in delhi University.The admission will be on the basis of cut off.
