The Fees Is Really Very Low As Compared To Other Colleges And Also You Get The Same Degree.
There Is No Need Of Attending The College Or Class.

The Books Provides Are Not Good And Does Not Provide All Necessary Information.

Course Curriculum Overview

Definitely I'll Say That The Timings Of Exams Are Good. Exams Are Conducted On Semester Basis. There Are 6 Semesters In All (2 semester each year). The Difficulty Level Of Question Paper Is Moderate. Sometimes It's Pretty Hard Sometimes It's Pretty Easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm Studying In Punjab University For BCom , But I Have Persuaded My Degree Through Code (correspondence). The Degree Has The Same Value As Regular One. The Examination In Conducted In The Same Manner As It Is Conducted For The Regular Students. There Is WhatsApp Group That Provides All The Necessary Information. The Fees Is Just Between 16-20k Including Books.

Campus Life

As The Degree Is On Corrospondence Basis So Definitely You'll Miss All The Other Activites That Are Conducted In Regular Basis. And If You Like Socialising And Want To Participate In The Activities Then This Course Is Not Good For You.

Admission

Everyone Can Get Admission In The Corrospondence Department. It's Better If You Are Persuing Ca Or Cs Or Any Other Course And Like To Stay With Your Family Only. Secondly The Fess Is Very Low As Compared To Everyone Else.

Faculty

There Are One Week Lectures That Are Not Good But You Are Provided With Every Single Information In The WhatsApp Group. The Exam Structure And Question Paper Is Same As The One Provied To The Regular Students.

Night Life

There Is Absence Of All This In The College. You Get The Centre In One Of The College Under The Punjab University. So There Is No Nightlife But Definitely While Attending The Exams You Get A Chance To Meet New Students And Make Friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .
