Specific aspects of the curriculum that influence my decision to choose this cousre is the faculty and best teacher and good environment they organize multiple fest for entertainment purposes which are good

Fees and Financial Aid

According to me PU is the best university in Chandigarh because of reasonable fee and good infrastructure. India's best teacher are there for us and it give us multiple courses choice. Located in a good place

Campus Life

Chandigarh best fest in college is done by PU which is college fest in which other college students also come for participation and enjoyment.And campus life is very good best campus in Chandigarh collegs

Admission

I didn't apply for other colleges because pu is the best college in Chandigarh and it gives my course in best fee which anyone can afford easily. Other college has 60000 fee for bcom but in PU you can do it for 36000

Faculty

Faculty members are good in behaviour to students and helpful in every stituation . Students have good relation with faculty members . They manage thinks every movement greatly . Best faculty in Chandigarh

Night Life

Chandigarh nightouts are the best nights you can go multiple places like gedi route or 3B2 for enjoyment and there is no restrictions for nightouts and pu library is the biggest library in Chandigarh college

Learning and Growth at PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

The students can sit for placements in their final year of course. The tricity based companies come for campus placements for jobs that need strong communication skills and basic knowledge of their domain. The maximum package that was offered goes up to 5 LPA, and the average packages are lower than this arounf 3 LPA. I wanted to go for Post Graduation so did not opt for campus placement.

The course curriculum is relevant and fairly comprehensive. Well defined syllabus with core subjects included. Balanced focus on theory and academic learning. Suitable for students aiming for higher studies. The curriculum prepares students well for post graduate studies and entrance exam.exposure to practical and industry oriented applications is limited. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT- Inclusion of skill based and industry relevant modules. Greater use of interactive teaching methods. More guest lectures and workshops. First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.
