Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very vast. There are many things that include bith the practical and technical aspects of the industry. It's good enough tp provide exposure for the on the job action required to perform.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Didn't get any internship yet. Am myself currently working with sportskeeda as a analyst intern. It allows me to get into the sports world and understand nuances of sports writing, since it's my passion.

Placement Experience

I am in the first semester of the college so not eligible for any placements. The college has an active placement cell, which reaches out to the industry leaders for placement support and also has an active alumni group.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was more than 150000 per year. Almost all the coursee fall under the same price range. Had to pay extra fees for softwares and curriclars. Didn't get any scholarship. Wasn't eligible for the same.

Campus Life

Campus life is great. We visit many festivals and events on behalf of the college. There are different clubs for different activities and sports. You get training and support for all of them. Peers are great too.

Admission

I had applied to Vivekanand and others but I chose this due to the curriculum and faculty. Rhe faculty is very indulging with the students. They promote and participate with the students in different activities for self learning

Faculty

Faculty is good for teaching. There are many guest lecturers too from different fields. Exams happen internally first then university exams for the courses. Most of the students are able to pass them easily.

Night Life

College has a canteen which serves delicious food. You can visit local area also outside the college for eateries. Different cuisines like chinese, continental and south Indian is available nearby the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 4th year to sit in placements. Famous companies like NDTV, News 24 , India today, ABVP,etc comes for placement. Highest package was 1200000 per annum and 300000 per annum is average package. Profiles offered are reporter,research executives, content creator, anchor, field reporter,etc I will go for anchoring after completing the degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

Journalism was first introduced in Delhi University at DCAC. The amazing faculty and a proper media studio makes Delhi College of Arts and Commerce a perfect choice for Jouranlism aspirants. The media studio has professional mics, green screen, cameras, teleprompter, switcher and other equipment required for real life learning. The classes are full-fledged, sometimes irregular. The Glimpse of DSJ

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my course four out of five because in journalism is a field where people are not about so much. The main stream media does not show the real problems and challengs of the country. They live in a bubble of their own. Many of the times they provide miss information to the people which hurts the hearts of the people. They do not cover multiple aspects of media. The exams in the daj is not so hard you can easily pass it by just 4 to 5 days of preparation.

Placement of our college is pretty good almost 80% students get good placement but at the same time its very important to know that you will get college placement at end of you masters as DSJ provides Five year integrated programme in journalism. If you exit your college after bachelor you might get placement from outside campus.

Ethereal experience at TIPS

I applied for IITM in Janakpuri and Maharaja Agrasen I could get admission in these colleges but I chose TIPS because the crowd and IITM is not good and Maharaja Agrasen is very far away from my house so I ended up taking admission in TIPS as it is close to my house. I got rejection from Maharaja Surajmal as my rank in IPU CET exam was not up to the mark to join Maharaja Surajmal. the admission process of my college was smooth, I gave the IPUCET exam which is held by the Indraprastha University after the results we have to make a priority list for the colleges we want to take admissions in.
