TIPS Dwarka is a typically nice college..

In our college area of improvement would be that not many moot opportunities are provided. While many colleges vouch for international moot competitions our college don't provide such opportunities. Course is same which is set by DU and one can't say it has any flaws.

Internships in law are unpaid and this is one harsh reality we have to live with. However from arbitration lawyers to criminal lawyers our college has connections and they themselves invite students to intern under them.

Placements at TIPS are honestly little slim. Even tough with such a small batch size less than 50% students are provided placements and it's a sad reality. Never mind though as one can't argue much on all thes things. Some law firms and decorated law firms lawyers come for interviews and a salary of 30-50k is offered but as I said to just a few students.

TIPS Delhi is a private college but affiliated with DU and is in same bracket with VIPS and MAIMS. However our college fees is half than what they command and that is just 1.1 lakhs a year. This, the total fees that I will end up paying would around 6 lakhs at max.

Our college is a 8 floor building and has some parking area but rest all I can describe is building. As building is almost a corporate house of 8 floors which is centrally air-conditioned. Library and auditorium even though small are stocked and facilitated well. Also, the moot court again small but is well designed.

I applied for NLU Delhi as it was a dream college but even though I am from Delhi that just remained a dream for me. Sad but can't help it as admission process is tough as DU entrance for Law is considered and TIPS may not be at the top of the rankings but is one of the best.

Exams are as per DU and in DUnl reschedule of exams is quite common. Our faculties have taught us one thing and that is that do take care of the things that are in ur hands and leave the rest. So, work hard and study as hard because law study demands and only classrooms can never be enough. Hence they are the perfect mentors I would have wished for.

For people who want some nightlife fun Brocode bar is definitely the one as it is opened till 2am. For chill vibes and atmosphere it's Famjam and Drool for Food. Dwarka Metro station is also not dar from the campus.
