Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate my course four out of five because in journalism is a field where people are not about so much. The main stream media does not show the real problems and challengs of the country. They live in a bubble of their own. Many of the times they provide miss information to the people which hurts the hearts of the people. They do not cover multiple aspects of media. The exams in the daj is not so hard you can easily pass it by just 4 to 5 days of preparation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee of delhi school of journalism is almost 80000 thousand rupees per annum. The fees is same for all students who belongs to general or any other category. Tuition fee is 50000 thousand rupees which is included in 80000 and the other charges comes under in 20000 and in the first year you have to pay the security charges which is about 10000 rs. Some scholarships will be provided from delhi university like financial support scheme for obc students. The amount of scholorship is 12000 rs .
Campus Life
I am not very much satisfied with my college infrastructure because DSJ in running in the delhi university stadium. Rhe building is not owned by dsj. There is no cultureal fest overall its a bad college for this purpose. There are 12 to 13 societies which does not work too much. Student life is soo boring. The classrooms are in good condition but there is no scope of sports.
Admission
I applied for delhi university other colleges as well but they do not provide bjmc and mjmc together. This is a five year integrated program in which you can do your graduation and post graduation from the same place. You can take admission in DSJ from by giving the CUET examination. The eligibility is you gave the test of one language and the general test.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 40:1 . The relationship between the faculty to student is pretty good. Student can easily approach the teachers and get advice and suggestions on their problems. I like the way of teaching Mitalee mam who teaches us media and political system in India. There are two exams in the end of the semester. And the continuous assessment is goes all over semester.
Night Life
There is not a night life in dsj because there is not any program held. There is a gym but you have to make a card for it which may cost you around 250 rs per month. Which can be a great option for them who lives near the college. There is no hostel facility overall. Library is too small.
