Course Curriculum Overview
When I enrolled in this college I didn't know what the curriculum was and took admission but from my personal point of view the curriculum is a bit lacking and can be improved in accordance to the recent trends.its not all that difficult
Placement Experience
Dehradun institute of technology has a very decent records of placements while is varies from year to year based on many different factors the university collaborated with various it, engineering and management companies.it also provides placement assistance cells for students
Fees and Financial Aid
2 semesters a year ,each semester cost 1.71 lac for 1st year thus 3.42lac tuition fees for first year including the lab fees, caution fees and other which also includes adding 2000 registration fees and 10000 admission fees . They also have scholarships based on category like sc st and state natives pays 1.45lac per semester and different merit based like cuet and jee based .
Campus Life
There alot of clubs in dit University which helps the social growth of the students in which it includes extracurricular activities and social awareness drives, competitive tournaments , subjective based clubs like coding club ,literature and more . The university also holds a fest known as youthopia.
Hostel Facilities
There different hostel buildings for different years of students to accommodate providing a bed and a desk and an Ethernet port and almirah , the bed also has the ability to store. And the if we talk about the mess food and menu itis the worst
Admission
I searched for best colleges in dehradun and in the the list of top universities top five included dit college and based on its past established pride and achievements I dived in to look for it and the most I liked about it was the location it was situated in.
Faculty
The teachers here are quite frank and friendly you can easily communicate with them . Not all , say for my class I suppose , teacher are lenient marks giving ones . Pretty strict on end term examination paper check . But you can score easily in internals and quizzes science they are quite easy.
Night Life
When talking about the nightlife around the college I can confidently say it's the best . Because it's in the hieghts you can see lots of stars on clear sky nights and moon as well which makes it worth it and mussoorie is not all that far away from my university
