All the deans and hod of the college are retired from army so they applies army rules in the college. Akgec is not more than the army school. So I will seriously suggest you not to opt this college of you want to make your career.

MCA in akgec is like part time course. Faculty of MCA course is outdated knowledge wise. Programming teachers doesn't have knowledge of programming. Java teacher teaches the subject of.net just for the development of teachers. They don't have any problem in ruining the career of students. There focus is just of theoretical message instead of practical knowledge. They are only happy if students gives assignment on time.

There is only one company comes which hires students in bulk which is Infosys. But they rarely hires anyone from MCA department. Apart from Infosys most of the companies only hires 1-2 students after 4-5 rounds. And some only coducts placement drives but even does not announces the results. For MCA they mostly invites company hiring for support profile. Placement team never helps the students in getting placement. Everytime they keep on debarding students from placement drives.

Lots of events celebrated. Saksham is the annual sports, annual fest with atleast 3 days in which lots of competition organises simultaneously, tech Trisha is the technical event , farewell party, fresher party.

As compare to knowledge given to students in MCA , fees is really very expensive. But yes the infrastructure of the college is awesome. It's is said that buildings are designed by German architecture.

Scholarship always comes for students having income less than 2 lakhs. Meritorious student always get good amount of money from the college. 100 percent attendance award is also given to students having attended 100%.

In labs faculty order to make programs but they never helps in making them. Because they don't have knowledge of programming language. If you ask them for help they will insult you that you even don't about this.

I will give 2 ratings. Infrastructure of hostel is just ok. Washroom are always stinky even after the complaints to warden. They even approve the leave to go home. Also the food of boys hostel is bad but the food of girls hostel is good as they says.

Apart from some seniors rest of the seniors were good they helped juniors whenever required. They helps in giving notes and instruct time to time how to survive in the college and how to deal with faculty.

I got admission through upsee entrance exam with rank 846. So I got it in first counseling. Also You can go to college and fill the form of admission if you qualify the merit list you will be call for interview. Also you can take direct admission through donation.

Worst faculty I have ever seen in my whole college life. They will do everything but will never gives you knowledge. Reason is that they don't have knowledge. Instead of motivating students for giving good job they demoralise students that you can't do anything in your whole life.just to hide that they haven't teached students well.
