Overall i would prefer to give 4 out of 5 to my college. Till now i had good experience in this college. College management is quite robust and i would suggest everyone that if someone is not able to make up to IITs/NITs or other college of equal standard
Entrance Preview
I passed UPSEE in 2014. I gained 160 marks and obtained 1277th rank in that state level entrance examination. With this rank i could have easily got top private college affiliated to UPTU, this was the reason i chose JSSATE without any second thoughts as JSS, undoubtedly, is one of the topmost private college in UP. Secondly i was aware of the fact that top most companies regularly do visit its campus for recruitment. Also i came to know about its up to date infrastructure which meets today's technical requirements in industries.
Internships Opportunities
Every year each department of our college receives an adequate internship experience. This year many reputed companies such as TCS visited our college's campus. I am not accurately aware of the stipend offered but it was certainly a good amount.
Placement Experience
In my MCA department 17 students out of 60 are already placed and companies are still visiting our campus. Some students got package as high as up to 7.5 lacs per annum (certainly a satisfactory package for a fresher unless you are from IITs/NITs etc). Others also received good package, 6 lacs per annum being the average package.
College Events
Our whole semester is full of technical and cultural fests. Greatest of them all is 'ZEALICON', our annual fest. It is the gateway to showcase all our best cultural and technical events. It includes participation from all around the entire college. Zealicon is a three day annual fest which does the work of shooting up our technical as well as cultural skills amidst the hectic schedules of classes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I got admitted to this college in 2014. Fee at that point of time was 1,20,000. Of course it is not an easy amount to pay for everyone. But thanks to scholarship programmes, it works as a saviour.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, many students have availed scholarships which JSS has been providing. More than half of our class has got scholarship of more than 50K. I have not availed loan so i am not aware about loans availability.
Alumni/Alumna
I would like to give 5 out of 5 on alumni network of my college. The Alumnus of my college is always ready to lend a helping hand to each and everyone who came to them. Many passed out students are keen to conduct workshops and seminars so as to help their junior students. I personally meet few seniors and get informed about latest technology trends in industry. I have also talked to one of my senior and he has assured me of taking me to his office and brief his work.
Exam Structure
We have three sessionals followed by a semester exam conducted by university's end. We have 2-4 lab sessions per week. Sometimes this whole schedule of labs and sessionals become hectic but usually it is not so. We get enough time for our preparation.
Faculty
The electives are responsible enough to carry their jobs smoothly. There is slight problem in faculty standards. Some faculties are not up to mark, they bring down the deeply rooted reputation of this institution. They keep rotating the faculties, due to
