Made a lot of connection . Met new people.
Character development and getting to know what's write and wrong.
Extra curricular can be your main curriculum if done with proper dilligence.

Dislikes

Interior of the college and it's conjusted setting.
Had a greater no. Of students than the capability of the hall seating.
Talented people got chance but a lot of talent got wasted due to favoritism.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom is a general course with no capability to make you a billionaire just by completing unlike mba that can land you a 20lpa job. Mba or anyone degree after bcom is a must. Bcom graduates are nothing more than basic labours.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

27000 per semester. It is increasing at an extremely diminished rate , it gives more than it takes. Besc is a good place for connection and earn while you study place. 27000 per sem is quite standard for a private institution providing help in connection building.

Campus Life

Beautiful kept campus, though very conjusted and small but has a fantastic sports arena and an mesmerizing cafeteria. Has a great no. Of class rooms and most type of laboratories. Is in an accessible location.

Admission

Besc is the best place to make connections and it has less emphasis on attendance for bcom helping them to complete courses like ca and cma. It has a good timing. People also get to brush up their extra curricular in this college.

Faculty

Crazy teachers with great acumen and knowledge. Really helpful in and outside the class , extremely underrated set of teachers. They have practical knowledge of jobs and at the same time are fantastic educators.

Night Life

Best place for nightlife. Be it the crowd or the location. Great crowd for fun and the college location is in the heart of the city with greatest clubs of the city 3 minutes from the college. It's even close to culturally rich places like Victoria memorial and Nandan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to pursue my B.COM (Hons) degree from JD Birla Institute purely because of the rankings. It is affiliated with a well-known university. This college focuses a lot on academics and is very strict about punctuality. The level of difficulty during exams is moderate. If you study hard, you score well, if you don't, you get the marks you deserve. No biasness on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

At my HS I choose commerce and I score 75% that's why I join B.com Hons, there is at least 5 to 6 professor available at a time for every subject, and when anyone of student has a doubt they solve it immediately or after the class end, they are well qualified as they have Dr. degree, every year there are 2 examinations, it was not so easy or not so suffer.

Decent professors with good environment

Remarks:

Decent college to study at an affordable fee structure. Any middle class or poor category student can afford to study in the college quite easily I don't regret being a student of the college at all.

Remarks:

There are a no. Of positive remarks as the students get a pool of friends not only from India but also from outside India . The college infrastructure is very good and faculties and seniors are very supportive. The only negative fact is that the attendance is very strict and attendance less than 75% in any subject will lead to suspension from examination in that particular subject.

I choose this college because this college is one of the really good colleges out there in Kolkata. Also, bhawanipur education society, Kolkata is highly reputed and occupies a place under Calcutta university. I always wanted to go to Kolkata to persue my higher studies, as I'm from a commerce background and Kolkata is a hub for commerce students. The reason for choosing bhawanipur education society over other colleges was that alongwith the course-related studies it also provides with the overall development of personality.
