Likes

Faculties are very good and humble and informative
Facilities available are very nice and proper
Exams are held on semester basis that are very good

Dislikes

Gaming facilities are very poor and not proper
Fests are not organised properly and they are very poorly taken
Students are not organised properly so many people can't cope up with other students

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and communication engineering is basically best course in action to take in consideration at time when we are dealing in vlsi I thoroughly enjoyed the curriculum I nearly made 5 full length project in ECE so I am well prepared for real world applications I don't think there are areas in improvement The exams are there in every 2 months and with moderate difficulty

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for B.E students opted from COMEDK is 2.5 lakhs per year with many additional fees include placement training fees of 2000/- and summer term fee per course of 5000/- and make up fees of 1000/- per course If you avail from kcet student the fees will be 65,000/- per annum

Campus Life

In June there is vaidyunak fest for common students for all In December we have ECE fest Holidays include dushera,diwali, sankranthi, christmas , Karnataka rajyostav,etc... Range Books of 25000 are available and very apt Digi labs and digi boards are there so that there is very great facilities

Admission

I didn't applied for any other different college for comedk I got mechanical branch first then I got ECE in my second counselling I didn't make in vit University Vellore because of high fees Admission process is very simple in the college and for cutoff for comedk is 60 marks where I scored 101 marks

Faculty

For 20 students there is 1 lecturer and 1 assistant professor that is 20:2 which can be little inconvenient but they are very reliable and they are very good at teaching I liked Rajalakshmi madam (RLK),Deepthi ms madam I hated Lokesh sir he didn't given any advice and very bad at teaching 3 internal exams and final exam. 75% people are clearing exams in constant basis

Night Life

Gym costs 1200/- per semester ( 6 months) ,cafeteria is there and rates are reasonable and hangouts are very common and there are proper hostel eminities and very great pg facilities available near college Campus timing is from 9 am to 5 pm Hostel closes at 11 pm Mysuru palace,mysuru zoo, etc are proper for hangouts

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
