Likes

First of all the faculty is amazing and interactive love the way of teaching and making student involved in class lecture
Second the senior students are really helpful in whatever way
Society culture is one of the best at our college joining multiple societies may help you in future

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be changed and college require repairment
There are bamboo rooms which are very congested it should be given to societies for their activities rather than taking classes there
Proper smart classes should be installed

Course Curriculum Overview

Those wanna go for preparation of upsc cse may persue this gives u an opportunity to learn new things and study a more scientific and practical subject no suggestions till now the timming are quite good and faculty is also amazing

So the total fees for the year is 15600 which is quite affordable for almost all the people there is no such change in fee structure or any kind of scholarship The faculty college offers at this fee structure is quite good

Campus Life

Society play an important role in our college it feels fun to spend time in college the Library of our college is equally good the vibe of our college is very candid and likes to go to college daily basis

Admission

After the introduction of common university entrance test all college which fall under du take admission from that process . I personally like the ncc of this college and and faculty although I applied for other colleges but won't able to meet cutoff marks

Faculty

The total strength in 1st year is 84 but these are divided into certain groups in which 1 teacher is assigned 28 students so the faculty is quite reachable and responding my teacher of cartography I e pooja mam is my favourite cause she makes the learning fun and interactive basically exams are dependent on the course u are enrolled into in my course there are 3 exams and certain assignments

Night Life

It lies on one of the most porshe area of Delhi , there are mostly residencies of bureaucrats, there are several headquarters of government agencies , other than this the most famous hangout spot is lodhi garden the second most famous place is jln stadium the tea point near college Is also famous among students the area is safe to roam around

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
