Course Curriculum Overview
The ECE curriculum at amrita is comprehensive and relevant,offering a strong foundation in both core concepts and modern technologies. However more practical exposure and hands on labs could improve learning. Exams are rigorous but fair
Fees and Financial Aid
College fee 3.5 lakh,hostel fee 1.2 lakh, college caution deposit 10 thousand, hostel caution deposit 5 thousand . No category wise fees, everyone has the same fee. Scholarship of 50-20 percentage of college fee is given based on merit
Campus Life
Campus life at amrita is dynamic with festivals like aarush - technical fest in September and srijan - cultural fest in October. The library offers a vast and variety of books, journal's and online resources. Classrooms are well equipped with tech. Sports, clubs, and student portal foster active involvement
Admission
I chose amrita for its strong academic reputation, excellent ECE faculty,and great placement record.i applied to college's like RVCE and BMSCE, but amrita's comprehensive cirriculam and modern infrastructure stood out.i didn't face rejections but didn't get into top IIT due to high cutoffs. Amrita's addmission requires AEEE/JEE score with cutoffs around 60-70%
Faculty
For faculty student ratio is around 1:6 , many af the faculty are friendly with the students and are approachable. Dr.m.vinodhini and mrs.kirthi s pande are the faculty I liked the most they are like my mentors. There are about 50 subjects throughout the course and for every course there is a mid term and end semister examination and about 80 to 90 percent of students pass in each course
Night Life
Night life at amrita is relatively calm.the campus library, gym and cafeteria close by 9 - 10 pm while hostel have curfew timings around 11 pm students often unwind at the campus cafe or the common areas. The locality is generally safe at night
