Remarks

Clg is not so good. I am not blaming clg for this review but our educational system is not so good. The topics or the subjects that i studied currently are those whose use is ended in the last century. I requested to our system to chamge thw syllabus of indian educationa system

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The infrastructure of the campus is good. Hostels have their own LAN but no Wi-Fi. Classrooms and labs are in good condition. Medical facilities are always provided to students easily. An inter-NIT competition is held every year. Each hostel of a particular batch has their own food canteen, and somehow, it is good. Hostel rooms are in good condition, and there are all facilities available like lifts, etc.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in the college are very good. About 80% of the students got placed this year. The highest salary offered was 39.5 LPA, and the average package offered was 8.6 LPA, and the lowest package was about 3.5 LPA. Around 150 companies including Microsoft, Infosys, Facebook, Tata Motors, and some coaching centres visited this year for placements. Around 200 students got internships. There is innovation garage which provides a platform to improve ourselves, which is also very useful to prepare ourselves for upcoming companies.

College Events

2.5

Sports day Annual day All festivals like christmas holi diwali valentines day is celebrates by our clg students with a lot of courage specially on valentines day Today is our clg fest but due to low budget anxiety is not so much to go in the fest not mine fest budget

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its too expensive but relatively it is lesser if we compared with other clgs. Clg is famous for its high placement ratio but most of the see that there is an gap between the company profile and the student knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yet i not gain any schoalrahip from the xlg but i know there are two scholarships that i can avail the benefits. First one that is given by the delhi government to those students who are economically backward and the second one is offered by the university

Campus Life

3

You know there is a number of labs in the clg because we are from engineering department. A lot of activities is also going parallel with the study curriculum. Our clg provide anumber of equipments to play variety of games.

Hostel Facilities

2

I am not living in hostel.but is too expensive. A normal student cannot afford those high rates of hostel. As ther is no much facilites in the hostel according to their price list. But hostel food is so much tasty and also provide a lot of variety

Alumni/Alumna

Our senior is not so much interesting because they indulge in there own work they cannot interact with their juniors. These guys doing a lot of worthy work but cannot share with their friends or with their juniors

Admission

Admission in majority of the programmes on offer at Indraprastha (IP) University is on the basis of Common Entrance Tests (CET). It is to be noted that only Indian citizens are eligible to appear for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPUCET). After the entrance exam is conducted, an offline counselling round is conducted wherein seats are allotted to aspirants who meet the cut-off.

Faculty

2

Some of the teachers are good and well qualified. They always give us pleasure. Some of the teachers have very good teaching quality; they explain the concepts by teaching through projectors and green boards. But, most of them don't provide elaborated detail of any chapter. The course curriculum was very helpful.

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

There was no such provision of jobs or fixed placements however there was a placement cell which was quite active and hence there were opportunities for placements by contacting the cell and placement fairs were also organised that were open for all, but not many opportunities were given. The companies that took candidates were economic times, TOI etc paying a very basic fresher stipend of 10-15k. Very few students actually got to know about these placement drives hence the placements weren't great also not many companies came on campus.
