Course Curriculum Overview

Lab work was the special aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to chooss this course. How well the curriculum preprares academic pursuits totally depends upon students how they prepare for their exams

Internships Opportunities

I got internship from Capgemini as analyst A4 role with compensation of INR. 4,00,000 per year with INR 25K additional for completion of one year with them. They will tell which location I'll be at next month

Placement Experience

From 6th semester ending onwards we are eligible for campus placements. Tcs came to our university and made one thousand seven hundred twenty eight offer out of which one thousand five hundred seventy seven were accepted

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is INR 4,00,000 Admission fees - 20,000 Mess fees - 60,000 Hostel fees - 2,00,000 No scholarship provided and no financial aid was given. But if you get good rank you can get scholarship easily

Campus Life

So overall experience at vit University Vellore was very awesome campus life was the best good friends, party in hostels etx we enjoyed a lot to the fullest. We ran our own club at clg and it was a success

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good but mess is worst all south indian food that I don't like as im from north registration is simple during hostel booking we choose it in locality there are few flats available where students like

Admission

I applied to SRM University Chennai too but since vit University in vellore was better so i choosed it but now i think I should have taken SRM as their faculty are more friendly and studnets can get marks easily

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 5:60. Some teachers are friendly but so are very rude and likeley to blame students and cut their marks for no reason. Marigappa wala the faculty I didn't liked at all he was disgusting

Night Life

Nightlife was not allowed outside hostel as gate closed at 9:00 P. M. Sharp. But inside hostel we had lots of fun atleast till morning 4:00 A. M. We ran everywhere played hide and seek it was amazing for us

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

the honest vit review.

Viteee 2021 was held in online mode. there were many cases of cheating because of which the administration then didn't allow zooming in and showed the registration number as the watermark in multiple places. the cutoff went really high as the exam was held before jee and everyone wanted to secure a seat in a good private college. the exam server was v poor it had even crashed in one slot. all the details about the admission fees dates and forms were available on the official site. I am aware of students who are aware of nothing but still are in category 1 in CSE because they cheated and weren't caught, this really boils my blood because even after studying so hard I got category 2. the entrance is usually held offline mode but this was held in online mode and was nothing next to faithfully done....Read More
