Course Curriculum Overview

5

They really built us a strong base and increased the complexity to a professional level while they were able to make us understand everything and the end of 2nd year we were really oriented and inclined towards psychology both it out both personal and educational life. So the curriculum is really good enough to provide you all the necessary to build a strong base for psychology.

Internships Opportunities

5

As considering for psychology we had to find our own internships in hospitals, clinics or NGOs . The college will provide only Allowing and recommendation letter. So,at times it can be challenging but it offers flexibility and options.

Placement Experience

3

In the course of psychology it's not use to just do Bsc , we have to go for Mphil atleast, so our department didn't bother much for placements, but still we got some for HR posting with the package of 4-5lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee-120000 per year Registration - 500 Addmission conformation -10000 ( Non-Refundable) Supplementary Exam fees- 500 PRACTICALS repeat- 2500 Continuous Internal Exam repeat-10000. No other compulsory charges and They don't have any official scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Our psychology department had a fest called kaleido which used to take place every even semester of the year. It had multiple events and everyone but from psych department could participate. Annually we had Magnovite, an international in which people from international universities and different universities within India participate. The library was exceptional, helping us in getting access to some of the paid papers in science direct and more. There were multiple student led organisations like Mentor and counseling services, psychology association, etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Most of my class mate along with me lived in a gated community named Brigade panorama near by with all facilities possible.and My rent was around 20k for 2bhk semi furnished and deposit of 50k.We got a lot of type of home cooked meals in our apartments for sale or zomato is the go.its a very spacious place offerings all needs from spas to swimming pools

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college,I just wanted to get Into Christ Only because of its name for psychology and it stands Number on in South India for Psychology.when we joined we had around 5000 members for competition from that we 120 were selected

Faculty

5

Psychology Department staffs were filled with doctrates who had lots of publication, So they really had the potential to deliver the best , and the system of the department was really planned the synchronisation between the student and staffs was really good without any Chaos present. Dr.Vijayala Srinivas in the department is the most potential of all making things work in order. We had CIA-1 ,CIA-2,CIA-3 and End semester exams for our marking. 45% weightage for End sems, 5% for attendance and CIA for 50%.The curriculum is very much oriented and latest to the present psychology trends.

Night Life

3

College is located in the outskirts so doesn't have much to offer much nightlife in the immediate vicinity but there is a proper street food culture outside Christ and Small bars to chill with friends.hostel timing to come in is of 8:30pm.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
