Campus is so clean. Also classroom have ac.
All teachers are so good .They are very friendly with students.
Dept is nice you feel like home . All staffs are good

Dislikes

Washroom is not so clean. And area is to bad .
Drinking water machines are not clean. Need to clean
Library is not so good . So many books are not found at there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is so good. But the lab is not so good.in our dept hod take exams in every week. And normally we have two exams in a semester. Overall experience is so good. But you don't get to much practical knowledge from this place.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees 20-24 k. Tution fee 500 per month. Development fee 300 1 time . Scholarship you get normal govt scholarship like swami vivaknda and k3. You also get scholarships from University union . Nice university.

Campus Life

Campus is so good and clean. Thare have so menu place for playing. Thare also have a gym. You also get a very good canteen. They was do a social event 1 time in every year. You also get free Wi-Fi in library.

Admission

This is a gov college. Fees is so lower then other college. Teachers and stuff was good. Also you get hostel facilities in very cheap price. You get help and support from your dept. also there exam is not so hard .

Faculty

We have 30 students in our dept and faculty is only 2. Journalism dept hod Gopa ma'am is so good . She is very friendly with students. Also Pallab sir is very friendly and helpful. He helps you every time whenever you needed.

Night Life

There are so many cafe and gym around the campus. Thare are a hostel in campus but that's only for boys . You also get so many pg around the university. Also there was so many guards in night for hostel students.

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

Placement Experience:

Most of the placements that took place at least for the literature departments ended up with people joining educational institutes and NGOs. Very few joined corporate enterprises like Accenture. But it does provide almost a 5 LPA, if well placed. It is academically rigorous, therefore academics are weighed more than industry.

My Experience as an MA Graduate in Jadavpur University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for camous placemens from the third semester onwards. Companies that have visited the Departmet of Comparative Literature witth campus placements offers are SVF, Hoichoi, Radio Mirchi, Papertrue, LearningMate, among others. Highest package offered by companies is 8.5 LPA Percentage of students getting placements is 85% My plans after getting my MA degree is to go for a PhD.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

RKMVCC is a great college NIRF 3 in 2024

This college is nothing less than a iiser. Seriously, except the branding of iiser this college is as same as iisers. I cracked iiser mohali but i joined this college because its environment.
