Course Curriculum Overview

Course is really good lab facilities are also good they provide us almost everything and a industrial visit for the preparation for placement and this is one of the best course of the university It is really good

If we talk about placement many people say there are no placements but it is not true many companies visit this university only the students who have good knowledge about the course get the good placement with a very high package so placements are good here

In detail university provides a facility of scholarship in which one can get scholarship by giving an online exam cucet that university takes according to which scholarship is provided it is divided in several ways such as 100 percent,80 percent 70 percent 50 percent and many more

Campus Life

In my overall experience it is very nice friend circle is good security is very nice the campus is very clean workers do their work really well the faculty members are very nice and helping overall the university is very nice for any fresher to study

I chose this college because this is near to my home place and many of my senior are pass out students of this college everyone gave me good review about this college that's why I choose this college rather then others

Faculty members are very helpful helps in every field such as research book publishing in exams doubts sessions, they provide us facility to learn as much as we can never leave the students in any problem resolve almost every problem

Night Life

In the night life it is really nice to feel the breeze in the trees very green and quiet place in the fields of Punjab with a lot of security provided to the students by the university the night life is very safe secure and enjoyable here

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
