Course Curriculum Overview

4

Look out college is an autonomous college so it has the power to conduct exams and set papers on its own. That is a major benefit, it also updates the syllabus every year which helps us to stay updated on new technologies running around the world. Exams are not that difficult if you sincerely study even 3 days before the exam you can do it, depends person to person, I used to do the same and I'm at 8 cgpa right now which I will definitely improve and make it around 8.7 or higher.

Internships Opportunities

1

I am currently in my second year precisely in my 3rd Sem, I have not yet applied for any internship yet but yeah the college does conduct some company meetings in the auditorium for some sort of technical skills, which is upto you if you wish you join or else leave.

Placement Experience

3

When I entered the college, I saw 8 loa average repackage in the college placement section, I thought what Like seriously is it that good. But no !! It is not true, not many companies visited the college campus last year which is a big factor. but this year we had more number of companies coming and recruiting people from our college campus which is a good thing to notice.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ok so I got admitted to this college through the Comedk exam which I gave in the year 2023 and got a 21000 rank, at my rank I got the ECE dept at this college. I paid rs2.64 lakhs as 1st-year fees through comedk. Other means of admission are also available if you are from Karnataka you can take the KCET exam and the tuition fee for them is around Rs 40000 per year. Some people are from management also, they have paid about rs3.5 lakhs per year along with some management quote fees that is not disclosed to us.

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is actually great and not great also, if you make good friends they will make it awesome, and if not you will be sitting the whole day in your room and enjoying Bangalore views from your window. See we have a gym in our college, a cricket ground, a volleyball ground and recently our new indoor sports complex was inaugurated by the present CM of Karnataka a few days back which is going to house a new gym, badminton court, and indoor basketball court.

Hostel Facilities

3

I live in my college hostel, so we have three types of boys hostel namely Ananda Bhavan, Siddhartha, and Ashoka. I stay in Ananda Bhavan for which I pay rs 82000 per year including mess fees. The Ananda Bhavan is the oldest of all hostels ..yeah and do lack a lot of facilities like attached washrooms and all. Siddhartha den Ashoka has 4/3/2 sharing rooms and even a single room if you like to enjoy alone! Coming to mess ! Genuinely not great for North food , it has north mess but that is also not so great.

Admission

So I was a jee aspirant, I gave my jee mains first time in 2022 I couldn't make it, so I took a drop and as we all know drop years are quite motivating but sometimes you have to be careful of the odd terms too that can occur, so for being on a safer side, I gave few other exams like wbjee, comedk. And thank God I did that, I got admitted to this college through comedk. Which is an exam to get admission in colleges of Karnataka and pursue technological degrees.

Faculty

5

Coming to Exams , which we are afraid of . See exams are a matter to worry about anywhere you go, there is nothing to do with a faculty if you don't study well. I have not seen any partiality over here that teachers do with students. They grade you upon your performance in the exams.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is great since I'm in the city center I don't lack any facilities. The location is good enough to roam walk and talk with your friends, enjoy dishes. Look and some crazy lavish houses built nearby. Our college has its own library, cafeteria is also present. The hostel gate closes for boys at 10 pm in the night and for girls, the time is 7:30 pm in evening. Bangalore University is just next to our college which is rather a city than a college.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
