I applied to some other colleges in Bangalore like PES, Dayanandasagr, UVCE etc.., I didn't get in because of my rankings were not enough. In first choice I got into New horizon but I chose this because this is a government college
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers fundamental and advanced topics including core subjects like Data structures, Algorithm, OS, Computer networks, and Databases. Also emerging technologies like AI&ML, Blockchain. We have practical exposure through labs.
Placement Experience
Usually in our college placements starts from 7th semester of four year curriculum. I heard most of CSE people got placed with average salary of 4 Lakhs per annum and highest of twenty lakh per annum through some cometition.
Fees and Financial Aid
I've paid total sum of 28500 for my 3rd year fees. As for my 1st yead I paid 30000 and 27500 in 2nd year. This amount only for the students who got admission through SNQ quota. For who selected on KCET general ranking will have to pay about 60000 per year for CSE. If you are getting admission through COMED-K you'll have to pay about 2.5 lakhs per annum same goes for management quota.
Campus Life
There will be minimum four cultural fetives including your branch specific ones. And also conduct vaious technival fests like hackathons, exhibitions where they invite sorporate people and professors from othrt institute
Faculty
All are good with their work it's up to you paying attention and study for your goal!!!! If you can try getting some courses before joining any college. I personally feel all the staffs who took classes for me all good.
Night Life
We have a cafetaria and snack centre inside the college campus. You can get whatever you want. And also around the college campus also there are lots of cafes, restuarants and hotels both south indian, north indian and including chinese.
