Offers hygienic meals with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Fixed monthly charges apply.
Has a basketball court,cricket nets and a football ground
4th year all india tour is something that's very much I liked

Dislikes

Some faculty members rely heavily on theoretical teaching, lacking focus on practical applications and real-world industry exposure.
Insufficient extracurricular activities and limited recreational facilities reduce opportunities for holistic student development and engagement beyond academics.
Time table is another factor that's hard to be satisfied with because lunch break is in 11:30 am

Course Curriculum Overview

The course we are still following are vere primitive structured. Lot of them are focused in gaining marks rather than practical knowledge. I would suggest a more hands on approach rather than theoretical approach.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

From Semester 7, placements are available and a lot of companies like TCS,UST Global comes in for recruitment. I don't have much knowledge about the highest packages but average packages offered would be around 3 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

For management seat, the course fees are 85000 For NRI seat,the course fees are above 100000 Govt provides egrantz for backward castes Other than course fees i have paid these amount in yearly fees KTU Exam Fee: ?5,000 University Fee: ?500

Campus Life

Freshers day,Arts day are celebrated as all of the colleges. Cultural fest is called illuminati. There's also an open house exhibition called Samagra. Sports day is also present even though there's not much support provided for sports by the college. There's a student council where students are part of.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in the room is a bed,a shelf and a cupboard. Meal quality is sometimes good,sometimes poor. Registration process is very simple. Common washroom is provided for the resident students in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I selected this college because this was the best option in front me. I did get admission in other colleges but my desired branch was computer science and that course was only available here. The admission process was smooth.

Faculty

There are sufficient faculties present and many of them are easy to approach There are 2 series exam followed by a university exam In the internal marks calculation,the series exam marks are a factor

Night Life

Unfortunately,7.00 pm is the cut off time for the peers in the hostel to get inside.therefore there is no night life to talk about. Gym is also accessible till 7.00. The locality around the campus is ok and the situation during night is not experienced.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. MCET, a campus to be educated and to enjoy.

I didn't apply to any other college because our college is well known in our district and is one of the best private colleges in the state. And it was close to my home too so I never had to apply for another college. I didn't got rejected because I never applied. The student must qualify Keam which is the entrance exam for engineering and medical specific to the state of Kerala. Should have good and considerable marks on the exams of +2 also. Students can apply to the college after the ranking of Keam is published for merit seats. Can appear directly to the college for management and NRI seats too.
