Course Curriculum Overview
As upcoming biomedical engineer the courses that we are studying right now helps us to strengthen our basics for the course and help us implement that in future . whereever we wish to work ,in this course we get to learn the designing and functioning of medical instruments.
Internships Opportunities
There are intership opportunities but as this year college is converted into university there must be more opportunities and there are lot projects and outcomes tasks ..you just need to explore college and learn whatever you like
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are eligible from 7th sem and students having CGPA greater than 8.5 are preferred for the placements. Mostly 89% placements are provided by college. Placements in my course is about to increase in upcoming years .
Fees and Financial Aid
As I opted for Btech Biomedical Electronics Engineering for first year the fees i paid was 205000, and for next three year I will have to pay 200000 per year from which the initial 5000 will be refunded.
Campus Life
Campus other than studies involve clubs such as dance ,drama ,music and theatre. Students actively participate in their interests .Our college organises various events for students , many camps are also held for students welfare .etc
Admission
Firstly I applied to institute of science Nagpur for bsc forensic science but seats were limited as it was government college and the cut off went so high so I dropped the plan then my gynaecologist suggested me to opt for something that will be emerging in future and something new . Then I got to know that biomedical engineering was only available at RBU nagpur in vidarbha , the admission process was smooth as they asked for my MHT -CET score for PCM and alloted me the course.
Faculty
As 1st year biomedical engineering Student I like how teachers interact with students they help us very much . Regarding exams there are 50 marks for internals which includes test 1, test 2 and teachers assessment 1 and 2 ,and the end sem exams are out of 50 .so the passing out of 100 is 50. Not many students fail the examination but the students below the mean average do not pass .
Night Life
Gym is average .only boys are allowed and girls are allowed offend once a week .this is the thing which is need to change . Campus is smaller compared to other engineering colleges . Hangout places are temple around the campus ,parking area, canteen Girls are not allowed in campus after 6:30
