- Infrastructure is good. Clubs and societies are good with moderate engagement and pan india events
- Clean campus with accessible roads, big academic area with library and canteens

- Academic culture and toxicity in clubs and societies
- Extreme harsh weather and the transition to hot and cold
- Just a developing city with less to no access to shops after 12 am
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was vague in first two years and started getting department intensive materials in 3rd year. Toughness is above average with more than half of the class falling below average marks in quizzes.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in the roles Consulting, Marketing, Development, Quant, Banking etc. with prominent companies for summer. The process is transparent and gradual organized by student placement cell for junior batches. I did not apply so can't give much intel
Placement Experience
Placements are smoother if you fall in the group of top shortlistwd candidates. The credibility and easiness decreases by each day making it harder for non shortlisted students to acquire a chance to prove themselves despite of their academic records
Fees and Financial Aid
1 lakh per sem as tuition and 20 000 for hostel per semester. No scholarships available unlike the people is SC and ST. Hostel charges also include accommodation mess, electricity etc. Year wise totally it's around 250000
Campus Life
There are Sports and Cultural Festivals Udhgosh and Antaragni in October and Ttch fest Techriti in March. There is a Vast library and study areas all around academic area. An independent student journalism body is active throughout the year for updates on issues that are usually overlooked or forgotten.
Hostel Facilities
Final year BTech students have a single room, while the junior batch stay in double or triple occupancy depending on the size of the room. Meal quality is 7/10 and taste is 7.5/10 in the mess accommodating all girl from all BTech batches
Admission
IIT Kanpur has the best research facility for Aerospace in India with an airstrip including gliders and Wind tunnels both high speed and low speed aiding testing of in campus and pan India researchers and companies
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio would be 1:40. Most faculties are old and unapproachable and only attended if its course work. There are best faculties in HSS department , empathetic and true to their profession.
Night Life
Library is open 24*7 for exam weeks but other study areas are open throughout the semester. There are canteens open whole day with hostel canteens open for 12-14 hours daily. Hostel is within the campus with 5-10 minutes walking distance from each halls to lecture hall complex. There is no curfew except inter hall movement for girls and boys from 12 ams -6 am
