Life at IITK

Fees and Financial Aid:

1 lakh per sem as tuition and 20 000 for hostel per semester. No scholarships available unlike the people is SC and ST. Hostel charges also include accommodation mess, electricity etc. Year wise totally it's around 250000

Full semester happens in about 4 months in which you have midsem and endsem exam

I have not seen any hike in tuition fee in my academia. Complete cost is around 10 lakhs excluding hostel charges There are many scholarships here if you are needful which will make your tuition fees almost 0. Proper placement happens here and you will get a lot of opportunities in different companies

Freedom is given to the students in terms of mobility and courses

Grading in courses of IIT kanpur is very strict . IIT kanpur acedmics are tougher than other iits

Tution fee for 1 year is 2 lakhs and hostel fee is around 60,000 per year . Talking specifically about IIT kanpur, research opportunities are great , professors encourage students to go for research. It still can't match the level of IISER and IISC .

Fresher life at IITK- pros and cons

Since the students comprise of elite rankers, all course exams without exception have high competition.

Student Snaps:

The course fees is around 1 lakh per semester and if your TFI (total family income) is within 5 lakh you avail 100% tuiton fees waiver,under the MCM (merit cum means) scholarship. Further more,if you qualify as a Teaching Assistant for any course,you get a fixed monthly stipend.

IIT kanpur - best iit

The fee structure is also fine mper semester the general category students have to give around 120000 rupees as tuition fees and some scholarships are also provided to the students whose parental income is less than 600000.

Successful IIT

The fee structure for ST category students is free of cost. For other category students, it's different. They have to pay almost 8 lakhs for the whole 4 years of BTech life. Many scholarships were provided by various banks.

Great Institute for both Academics and Campus Life

Fees for the course are not much higher as compared to private colleges, and placements are enough to clear all the fees in a year or so. Fees payable is even less for SC/ST communities and EWS. Education loans are provided by national banks at a lesser rate of interest.

The college fees structure in use is 4 lakh and the hostel fees are 2.5 lakh. The college provides scholarships to a few extraordinary students every year. The college is under IIT. There are many .... streams. I got a tata scholarship I got an internship at Samsung.

There is institute Scholarship. It is based on gate score. For post graduates and post doctoral students MhrD provides mostly stipend of 12000 rs.
