Infrastructure and campus is really good
Faculties are really good and Frank. They help us a lot.
All the facilities and opportunities are appropriate.

Dislikes

Our curriculum and all the rules are very strict.
Morning pet and evening exercises are compulsory.
Lot's of syllabus to cover and we get very less time to study.

I was fascinated about this course since an early age and that's the reason that I chose this.This course and my future job is full of different challenges.The curriculum is tough and also challenging.

Internships Opportunities

Many shipping companies come here for placement and job offers and they also offer a good package and various facilities.famous companies like chevron, nyk, stenna,bp,seapeaketc come here for recruiting cadets.

Placement Experience

From 1st year only the companies start arriving and we start getting placements and many shipping companies like chevron ,stenna ,bp ,seapeak and many other come here for taking ns and me students who are eligible.

Fees and Financial Aid

TMI is the best maritime college in Asia with everything provided which is required for being a sailor. our course fee for complete 4 years is 20 lakhs because I'm a girl cadet for boys it's around 25 lakhs and yes we get scholarships here on the basis of our merit list.

Campus Life

Many fest, exhibition, fresher's and parties are held here and all the things are organised nicely .here many clubs are also present here like dance ,drama,sports,music, art, reading, writing,mma and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Meal is good and proper for a navy cadets diet and yes our course and college is but expensive but it's all worth it at the end. We have all the basic facilities in our room but we have strict rulesand regulations.

Hostel Fee: INR 600000 per year

Admission

I didn't apply for any other colleges because this is the only college which I wanted to join and my god's grace I'm here I'm really thankful to God .and also I did hardwork to be here.i gave imucet and tmi sat to join this college.

Faculty

All the faculties are really good and understanding.They always try to help us in each and every situation. Here girls ratio is comparatively very less but still they make sure that we all feel comfortable and pay extra attention on us .we have lot's of exams and yes our course is difficult.

Night Life

We have gym, library,cafes ,grocery and stationery everything present in our campus because we can't go out from our campus on weekdays .We are only allowed to go out on Saturday and Sunday that too we have strict timings

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. Btech Marine Engineering at Tolani Maritime Institute

I've Applied to SIMS Lonavala which is also a good Maritime Institute even I got the admission letter but I chose TMI over SIMS because In SIMS we Only Get 1 Company i.e ESM which has a very long Waiting period , they show that Waiting Period is Zero but Waiting Period is There for more than 2-4months in Marine Engineering. To get Admission in TMI, You need To clear IMU CET with a good and Give TMISAT which Comprises of a Online Test and A 10-15mins Interview. Also You should have more than 60% in PCM and more than 70% in English For 12th boards....Read More

TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
