Course Curriculum Overview

4

In terms of relevance the course curriculum is good withe the generic elective subject, skill enhancement course, value added courses that is offered every year except the discipline courses. It helps to broaden the mind, thinking and skills of the students. The subjects of science needs practical approach so for that the regular practical sessions field visits that's all included in subjects are compulsory. Students can learn different courses from other stream if they have interest. For improvements, the labs have the outdated equipment and sometimes practicals ar performed in groups dur to lack of equipments that might get difficult to understand for some students . If the college have Enhanced digital infrastructure, such as online materials and better internet access on campus, could support hybrid learning models and the internet is really bad so if they can set wifi router it'll be really helpful for students to access online study materials. The exams happens at the end for semester with an additional internal test taken by college it self withe the internal assessment including assignments ,projects, attendance, files completion, participation in class The end semester exams can be passed by flying colours if the students studied everything withe previous year asked questions.

Admission

I've applied to jawahar lal University for the course in German honours.but I've also applied for delhi university and for ramjas college. I choose this college as it was my 2nd round of counselling I didn't got any college. So when i got this course and college i immediately accepted it. I didn't got the seat in JNU as I didn't gave a general test that was needed . One college i got was in tamilnadu and the fees was high and it was far from my city so i didn't opt for this college too . The admission in ramjas college was happened by the common entrance exam i.e. CUET UG anyone from the respective stream they choose in 12th grade are eligible to give this exam. Cutoff were different for different colleges and universities for arts and commerce students cutoff was around 600 out of 800 marks for any good college or a University . The same exam committee took the counselling process for admission and the process was really simple if you like the course or college you got then you need to just confirm or accept the seat and pay the fee and your admission is final and you're good to go for your college life

Faculty

5

Ramjas college has highly qualified faculty. In my department there are around 30 faculty members and the the ration of faculty to students are 2:25. The faculties are amazing and really approachable and very supportive and friendly towards students. Everyone department has this mentor mentee thing that happens the faculty and the student in ratio 1:8 are set to help the students in anyway either in academics or the personal problems or any problem facing in college the best thing i like about ramjas the faculties are always ready to help.the faculties conducts regular practical and theory classes except few assistant professor.the best faculty of my department is dr. reetu sharma and dr. Suman sharma these two are really very amazing and supportive even during exam days they are always available to help us.one faculty i don't like ahe taught us evs and she never taught anything properly and told us to read she used to finish her 1houra class in 20 mins . Examination is in semester system.marking schemes include both the balance in internal assessments (assignments, projects, and attendance) and semester-end examinations conducted by Delhi University. Internal assessment impact the grades if the students are not regularly attending classes as continuous assessment marks are also counted. The difficulty level of exam is moderate but if prepared religiously then no one can fail the exam.

Night Life

5

There's no specific night life in college campus but there and many handout places in university campus like kamla nagar is there cafes like Big Yellow Door (BYD), Hudson Lane for budget-friendly meals, and Majnu ka Tila for Tibetan cuisine. Ama cafe in majnu ka tila and tom uncle's eww maggi and sudama ki awesome chai are the perfect handout spots for college students. Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
