Course Curriculum Overview

4

In IT, the curriculum is actually pretty good. We are taught the strong fundamentals required for the industry. Have several interesting courses like web dev and app dev along with computer design etc.

Internships Opportunities

5

Students in their third year are given opportunities for internship by the college itself. Companies come in to take interview, but then there are several levels of screening and getting internship is is depending on the student. Here people tend to do internships outside the college from second year itself, but then they don't get any attendance exception from college.

Placement Experience

4

Placement at the college is good. The recession in the market has affected our college to, but in general, the placements are good. CSE and such branches have around 15 lakhs but other core branches often average out somewhere near 10 lakhs there are a few students who have gotten exceptional packages like 50 lakhs, but they're very few.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is same every year- it's 62500 per sem for tuition and then around 35 for hostel and mess The college does not take any additional fees for exams or anything and the above mentioned fees covers them all

Campus Life

4

The campus life. I college is great. There are several clubs, student organisations and bodies. Recently clubs haven't been very active. But the student welfare has been taking initiative to get the active students are cooperative and collaborative, but there exist a small bit of hatred and toxicity among students, which I guess is common in this part of India.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility isn't necessarily great, but it is how you would expect from a government university in India. This is an old college and hence the hostel facilities are also my dad's age, hence the washrooms rooms, flooring, et cetera, et cetera, are pretty old and small, but the new were built hostels like a mega girls hostel and mega boys hostel are much better facilities than the older hostels

Admission

Admission was strictly through JEE entrance exam ist I had applied to other colleges outside India to, but most of them were way too expensive. The main benefit I found here was good quality education at an affordable rate.

Faculty

4

The faculty are highly respected and educated people. They tend to have good grasp on the knowledge and help students out. Exams happene mainly twice a semester, a midsem and an end sem. There are quizzes and assignments apart from these too

Night Life

5

The college has no timing restriction for boys. Hence at night, there are people roaming around campus and sometimes things happening, but the campus is almost back to silence by 12 AM. Restaurants and shops close around 10:50 AM, but there is one central snacking point that is open almost throughout the night, which tends to be crowded even at three and 4 AM.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience
