- Very Well Connected to the City, as in can come in bus easily
- Good Placement Support, they train you from first year too
- Good Faculty and Labs are well equipped.
Dislikes
- Campus Infrastructure, the buildings are very old and not painted in over 10 years
- Limited Fests, like the seniors we had didn't conduct good fests.
- Limited Extracurricular Activities, Like there is very little importance given to sports and Hackathons
Course Curriculum Overview
I Guess a college individually can't do much. But in general college offers Career developemnt programs from first year itself. Which is really helpful. Also prepares for placement. Other than that you have study Phycics, Math, Chemistry in First year. But from 3 year you will be profesionally trained for your jobs.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are decent, mostly during the 6th and 7th semesters. Companies like Bosch, Infosys, and Capgemini come. Stipends vary, up to 10K per month. The interest is compulsory and actually useful for final year placement and project ideas too.
Placement Experience
Placements usually start in the 7th semester. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Bosch come every year. Around 60-70% of students got placed last year even though college says its more. The highest package is ?12 LPA, mostly for software roles. The college shows 7LPA as the average package but Average package is around ?4-5 LPA. Most offers are in IT and core engineering. I plan to either get a job in a good company or go for higher studies, depending on how things go. Placement support is decent if you’re prepared and put in the effort.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees I am currently paying 3L per year. Because I joined through comedk. But for students who joined through KCET Exam they payed only 1.6L per year. Registeration fees is 19K per student College offers alot scholarship for SC ST students. But I don't know what it is because I am general
Campus Life
Campus life is decent. Fest in March and Cultural Fest in September are fun. But very less Fests and not fun like other colleges. The library has a good. Classrooms have basic tech like projectors. There’s a cricket ground, basketball court, and indoor games. Some student-run clubs for coding, robotics, and cultural activities
Admission
Had got seat in PES university, but it was late and I had already joined this college. This college is very near to my house (like 3km). So thought might be better in terms of traveling for the next 4 years. I had applied for christ university but didn't get in. No reason was told. So basically I went though comedk, which private exam conduct by colleges. After getting a good rank. You have to fill which college you want and based on your rank you will get your college.
Faculty
They are well qualified and experienced, but it really depends on you. The faculty is very easy to approach. You get their mobile numbers too. Basically CIE 1 + CIE 2 there would be two internals and then final SEE Semister end Exam. The exams are easy to clear. Though maybe like 4-5% of people fail and need to write re exam and all.
Night Life
There is a GYM, just for name sake. library is good, has 3 floors. Very good for reading I am not a hostelite, campus is open around till 6-8pm depends on the schedule of teachers mostly. Usually definetely open till 6pm. There is a lot of places near the college which provide good food. But the most famous is the jolada roti corner, good food and budget.
