Course Curriculum Overview

In our college curriculum is purely outcomes bases which help students to learn new things which can be applied in real life. Curriculum has its own perks like we learn and apply those things in practical which help us understanding the concepts and practice them.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For my first year the fees I paid was 95000 for OBC category and and other years I will be paying 85000 rupees. Because of obc category I was able to apply for premetric scholarship and by which my fees reduced from 160000 to 95000. My general category batchmate pay fees of 160000 and other category students pay low fees.

Campus Life

There are various events going on throughout the semester, like every year we have college fest called yash and every semester has a techfest where many competition are organised by students and faculties like hackathon, gaming, sports (indoor, outdoor) . Various clubs are run by students. Every classroom have a smartboard, projectors .

Admission

Firstly it is quite popular college in our area and it is very reputed. Our college placements are also good compared to other colleges I got selected but I chose this college over those. I got selected in my college based on merit, percentage in our previous college.

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is good because for every subject their is a specialized faculty and teaching of most of the teachers are good. Teachers are very approachable we can ask doubt anytime regarding subjects. Exams are medium not that easy and not much difficult if you focus in lectures you can solve exams easily.

Night Life

College Hostel have a gym, college have a ground to play sports. College have a Library where we can study and access various books. Public area closing time is 11.00pm. Zilpi is very popular place to go to. Locality is very safe.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Nice curriculum in my cource in first year 6 subject are there which are maths chemistry physical engineering drawing and mining geology classes and approx length of each class is 55 min which is nice

I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
