Remarks

All positive ..yes ! In case of union some of the members are not well behaved .but rather than this everything is great ! The teaching staff , professors , seniors , general secretary and our beloved dada president of HCC students union Sabir Da is one of the best person I've ever seen .

Course Curriculum Overview

The b.com honours course is one of the important course and must do course for all the bachelor's because this honours course is the gateway of further higher studies .the exam structure is under Calcutta University based previously there were 3 terms now there are six semesters to pass and complete the entire course

Placement Experience

Our college doesn't provide internship .but HCC has some serious placements like tcs , Infosys , ICICI , axis bank , Gandhi fellowship ,and other companies . The college placements held by campus and then entrance exams and interviews .

College Events

Every year college held events as a fresher welcome then fest inter college tournaments and finally annual social .also college held other curricualm events such as like cricket competition, football ,debate , talent hunt .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The admission fees based on Calcutta University structure 6k for 3 years and extra for exam enrollment.overall fees are quite feasible and affordable . HCC isn't a expensive college , its totally feasible .

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college doesn't provide loan but they provide scholarship for merit students and quota as sports back ground students. As far as I know sports scholarship and loan facility are mostly common in HCC .

Campus Life

Our college have three computer labs full of great facilities and great teaching staffs. Also have two big library full of all books as a student need . Sports ground (small) cantin , common rooms , union rooms .and they are well maintained and neat and clean basically the cantin and the common room .

Hostel Facilities

There are so many lodge pg's and hostels near our college .our college has 3 sessions as morning , day and night . So the hostel infrastructure is feasible and good . And the availability is awesome you'll get any hostel or pg as rent .

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are very helpful , I know some of the alumni who helped me in case of internships as well as guiding .senior students always helped me as in studies or detailing . To be honest all passed out student are awesome for me .I love my HCC seniors .

Admission

I got 86% number in my higher secondary and ive got selected for this honours course.the main criteria is that merit list , the cut off marks was in 2016 85% for direct admission and now I guess its 80% . So the admission process is all about percentages

Faculty

The faculty is one of the best faculty I've ever seen , and the stuff professors seniors union members are all more like a family to me .their teaching style helping nature and the faculty is upto top level.

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

I have applied in many colleges like AGC Bose college, Surendranath college, City college (north), Seth Anandram Jaipuria college but I chose Heramba Chandra College due to it's better placements, better skill development, better company networks,etc.... No I made it there but I voluntarily cancelled my admission from there and came here. For our college, admission is managed by WBCAP portal in total 4 phases then rest 5-6 are conducted by the college. For UR category more of less minimum of 80% in best of 4 is required for admission.
