Heramba Chandra College Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. A few companies like TCS visit our college every year. The average package offered is around 100000 PA I want to go for higher studies after the degree but I want some real life work experience too.

Heramba Chandra College Offers Placements Oppurtuinities To Students Who Obtains A Good Cgpa In Their Semester Examinations. Generally The Placement Cell Of The College Invites Recruiters Like Tcs , Amazon , Axis Bank , Hdfc Bank , Etc Other Companies Also Visits The College In Its Placement Season , Studets After 5Th Semester And No Backlogs Are Entiteled To Sit In The Placements . A Good 60% Of The Students Sitting In The Placements Aquire A Job From Placements . I Want To Continue Pursuing Masters After My Graduation .

I enrolled in this course because I want to know more about history. My interest in history started slowly after class 12. I think everyone should know about this history. our college exam is very difficult some times

The system whuch was prevailant during by time was yearly system. The students became eligible for campus placement after the semi-anuall exam in the Third Year of the course. the companies which visit the college for campus placemrnt were Tata Consultancy Services,Wipro,Tech-Mahindra,etc The highest package offered by these companies are 4LPA and average salaries range withing the scope of 1.5LPA–2LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in the company depended solely on the interview and the final score of the student after the completion of the course. I took my first job in Tata Consultancy Services in the year 2018 from the college campus placement.

Bcom is not likely to offer you any placement on the degree on itself but I choose the course because everybody form 12th commerce does... This course is more defended on theorytical approach just like the rest of the Indian education system The exams are like "OK" type of difficultly if you have started preparing from one day before exam you are going to crack the exams that's just fine..

The course is practically theoretical and more notes oriented the practical part is unexplained and many students find it boring however teachers try to help everyone as much as possible but still they can't provide practical knowledge

A Bachelor of Commerce is very convenient. It provides massive opportunities in real world. It would have been more fine if the college could have gave more attention towards the students , the exams are held within a time span of 6months which are divided into internal and main semester

This course is considered as an basic in the world of commerce that's why I was influenced to take it. The bcom degree is the most basic degree that a commerce student opts for after completion of 12th. Exams are moderately difficult in the course.
