Detailed review of Heramba Chandra College

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel rooms of our college are very clean and well maintained along with all the basic requirements available. There are medical shops, stationary and canteen available in the hostel complex. Most of the students live in a dorm rooms as they are quite cheap and affordable. The meal is served in the hostel canteen and is quite fresh and tasty. They provide typical north Indian dishes and sometimes also provide south Indian foods like dosa, idli, sambar and you can eat as much as you want as there is no limitation and the food provided is also very healthy. If you chose to live in hostel, you have to visit the college hostel manager and fill the registration form, and chose the type of room you want. And after the registration is complete you get a call from the hostel manager and the date is provided on which day your room will be ready and you can come with your luggage.

Hostel for girls is new and the boys hostel is old.since I m living in a girls hostel.I would say that the infra us really cool and big.a 3 storey building with well equipped gym and library.a dormieee for prayer.meeting with superintendent ma'am.or doing projects and kind of stuffs like this.we have mandir at ground floor with a guest room attached with it.perfect RO system and a mess.it has a very large campus surrounded by large boundary with a huge gate in it's centre.

One of the best commerce colleges in Kolkata

There are so many lodge pg's and hostels near our college .our college has 3 sessions as morning , day and night . So the hostel infrastructure is feasible and good . And the availability is awesome you'll get any hostel or pg as rent .

Best college in South Calcutta

I haven't for any hostel but there are many PGs nearby hostel provide good hospitality and food. Its quite affordable as well around 7-9K per month rent. All these PGs are near to college. Transportation is good too.

The Last stage of Fun

I have never been a part of Hostel or PG. I live here with my family but according to my friends experience the hospitality was not that good. The food was not upto the mark they just had it to satisfy there hunger. the average rent of the PG was approximately Rs.3,000 including food in 2009.

There are so many festivals here but I've attended just a few but in this aspect I can it's one of the best college whether it's teacher's day or saraswati puja every festival is celebrated very nicely they had given us fest which was also very nice

There are many festivals and programmes held in the campus. Like annual sports event, cultural programmes, religious events, social etc. Alot of programmes and festivals keep going on my social life is great cause I've got a alot of friends. Seniors and juniors all are very friendly
