There are at least 150-200 teachers and they are all very capable and responsible people. Very helpful friendly and attentive teachers. I loved our accountancy teacher APC sir he's so funny and is great at what he teaches. The class tests are neither tough nor easy its mid

Heramba Chandra College Is One Of The Best College Of South Kolkata, West Bengal Located At Ballygunge Gariahat Road . The Faculty Of The College Includes Highly Qualified Professors And Teachers . The Course Structure Of : 1)Bcom General Is Of 3 Years . 2)Bcom (Hons) Is Of 4 Years . 3) Ba And Bsc All General And Hons. Courses Available . According To The Nep,2020 All Courses Which Are Effective From 2023 Are Registered Under Ccf . The College And University Also Follows The Same . There Is No Specific Ratio Of The Students And The Faculty , But We Can Assume It To 1:10 . Marking Schemes Is Under The Regulations And Guidelines Of Calcutta University .

Highly recommended heramba chandra college

Teachers explain things very well that's why all the students improve in life they guide us
All the teachers is our college are very good.

Our college is divided into 3 parts: in the morning only girls, in the day boys and girls together, in the night boys and girls together. In total, more than 10,000 students study here, some of whom cannot clear the exam, but they clear it in the next semester.our college students are very friendly

Best College Nurture Best People

The faculty to student ratio was 4:175. The faculty members though were less but made sure to take care of every student.They advised students on further academic options and study materials. All the faculty member were supportive and good.According to my knowledge there were no bad professors in the college. There were total 3 Final exams(1 in each year) under the university guidelines were the college was affiliated preceeded by 1 semi-annual exam in each year in the college. The exams were moderately difficult though only a few students failed to achieve the passing marks. There was option of supplementary examinations for students not getting passing marks in a subject/subjects.

The teacher to student ratio is like 80:800 I guess,,,there are way too many of exams but that is not the fault of our college but this is a fault of the University affiliated,,,you have to appear for 10 exams and only 3 of them are outside your college that is the main exam and the other ones are just for internal, general knowledge and these will be added to your SGPA...and this is for both 1st and 2nd sem

The faculty is friendly they provide notes before exam and also they are friendly and helpful, other than that the exams are relatively tough tm, marks are deducted too much in step and many students get supply too

The pros and cons of Herambachandra College

Dislikes

Some of the faculty members ar not helpful and show much rude behaviour towards the students

The faculty to student ratio is very less. The number of faculty is very less compared to the number of students , the overall is faculty is nice but some of them were not at all friendly towards the students. Then coming to the exams, the exams ar quite tough and a small ratio fails to clear the exam, the problem is the announcement of the exam is done 2-3days before the exam

The classes are sometimes very irregular. Teachers are not present.
Some of the faculty members behave very rudely. They doesn't go operate with us in the time of our need.

The faculty is very good but the classes are sometimes very irregular and some of the teachers behave very rudely towards the students and they don't feel like teaching. We are the first batch in the CCF system where we are learning 4 yrs bcom hons where generally if we can maintain 75% in 6 semesters then we will be provided with research for one year completing 4 yrs. Also a considerable amount of students from our batch failed to clear the semester.

The overall review of our college

the behaviour of the teachers and stuffs of the office and also the watchmans

the faculties are good with us. i like our Bengali department teachers , they were so supportive. they treat us like their own childs. there are 2 exams in each year. nd they're quite deficult. many students get failed.
