- According to me the college doesn't need any improvements till now, I don't know much about these thing.
- One thing I can say that you one can mind your own business no one is going to disturb you.
- Every classroom has smart board and that is very helpful
Dislikes
- If you are looking for a campus where you can chill out sit with your friends then this might not be your first choice....
- One or two of the classroom's smart boards has malfunctioned since my admission ( 1 yr) and that is still not fixed.
- I don't think the college canteen is big enough for the number of students that the college has
Course Curriculum Overview
Bcom is not likely to offer you any placement on the degree on itself but I choose the course because everybody form 12th commerce does... This course is more defended on theorytical approach just like the rest of the Indian education system The exams are like "OK" type of difficultly if you have started preparing from one day before exam you are going to crack the exams that's just fine..
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester payment for b.com hons = around ?3800 And the per sem examination fees = ?500 approx There are also some kind of discounts for SC/ST that I have heard about but I don't know much of that... There is not any specific scholarship that the college provides but students can claim their merit cum scholarships from government schemes.
Campus Life
I don't like clubbing or hang out kind of things but I can say that if you don't like hanging out with friends or you like it,,, you have both of these opportunities,,,and no one going to disturb you don't worry
Admission
I have applied for most of the famous colleges for bcom in kolkata and I got chance in every one of them but I joined heramba chandra cause it is also a very reputed college of bcom and all my friends got chance in this college. The registration process is very simple you have to apply for it online and then if you pay the fees after you got selected you can go for document verification to the college on the given date
Faculty
The teacher to student ratio is like 80:800 I guess,,,there are way too many of exams but that is not the fault of our college but this is a fault of the University affiliated,,,you have to appear for 10 exams and only 3 of them are outside your college that is the main exam and the other ones are just for internal, general knowledge and these will be added to your SGPA...and this is for both 1st and 2nd sem
