I'm doing the Bengali honours. and i use to like Sahitya when i was a child. and also I'm Bengali so I'm interested in this specific language and culture. the exams are 3 hours long and it is quite a good amount of time.

B com course is very underrated but I think if anyone upgrade themselves B.com has a great potential . This college supports you not only in university curriculum but they also supports you to be industry ready. The college takes internal exam before semesters difficulty of that exam is medium.

As I had commerce in my secondary and higher secondary education so it helped me to enrich my education with what I had learnt earlier. The things that I learnt like GST, e filling and other accounting related topics will help me in industrial purpose. The course is new to me so I am not sure to tell what to enhance but I would like to add that is some practical things will be practiced like teaching balance sheet using original industrial balanced. We have semester exams and our college has 3 year 6 semester, each year consists of 2 semesters. And the exams aren't that much tough but if will be if we don't study.

Some special parts of this course have influenced me to take this course, for example Entrepreneurship, Tallying, IT has always been my favourite subjects to learn, instead of taking a degree of entrepreneurship i can simply learn it from the course ive taken e.i Bcom Hons. The curriculum teaches us all the works that are being done in the corporate world. This makes us ready for real life problems and helps in decision making. Improvements can be made in this course by adding the subject of E commerce as its very important now in todays time. The frequency and timing of exams are okay as the subjects are not really that hard .

The percentage of students are 40 % where mostly the placement was of sales and from insurance sector. Companies came like ICICI Prudential, Edelwiess Tokyo, Bajaj Finance with offering salary 7 - 8k per month.

This course is good to know about your own country and the administrative system of the county including rights and duties of citizens and the place to go when their rights are hindered and about the structure of government including the knowledge of all three organs of government political parties and pressure group how they affect and get affected by business group and about the international relation and government structure of some major countries of World. You can do this course if you want to be a teacher or professor but except this there is no scope or real life implementation of this course.

BCOM IS A GOOD COURSE ON THE FIELD OF FINANCE. FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING IS VERY WELL APPLICABLE IN CURRENT JOB MARKET. THE COLLEGE SHOULD ORGANISE MORE FINANCIAL RELATED WORKSHOPS FOR BENEFITTING STUDENTS. THERE IS ONLY 5 MONTHS GAP BETWEEN EACH SEMESTER WHICH IS REALLY TIRESOME.

the placements in our college are mainly provided to BCOM students, but almost 75-80% of economics students are also placed in various sectors like analysts, consultants, merchant navy, sales etc.

It will get me job opportunity very soon Prepares very well. All is well, there is nothing more to say about improvement because as it stands, there is no need to change anything As for the examination, the two semesters held here are six months apart. Nothing to say about this.
