Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum gives us the oppurtunity to choose from a range of various subjects which not only helps us understand the theories but also provides an insight into the real-world dynamic applications in various scenarios.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

the placements in our college are mainly provided to BCOM students, but almost 75-80% of economics students are also placed in various sectors like analysts, consultants, merchant navy, sales etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

the tuition fees gradually increase by an average rate of 400 rupees on every semester maxing it out at rs 4500. from fourth semester campus, employment oppurtunities are provided according to availability from companies like TCS, and BAJAJ.

Campus Life

our college organises huge freshers named AURA , which includes night long music fests . Our HEMFLUENCE is also very famous , which is our annual fest where many huge artists like anupam roy , bolepur blues , nikita gandhi etc performs. our college also provides us with various clubs like photographic club, dance club , theatre club , sports club where one can participate and go for inter college tournaments

Admission

I took admission during the covid period, due to which i havent given any exam, but generally admission in eco dept in heramba chandra takes place on the basis of class 12 marks and then merit list is provided. reservation benefits are also provided.

Faculty

The college website lists faculty members with their qualifications including P.hd degrees , M.Sc , and M.Phil . The teachers are extremely helpful not only in understanding huge topics but also helps in building character and guides for a better oppurtunity .

I like chemistry from my higher secondary and want to read . 1:8 is the faculty : student ratio Almost everyone one has done phd from renowned university ( like IIt , Boston university , Calcutta university , IACS ) Few post doctoral professor is also there Exam is scheduled very regular basis and perfectly balancing the syllabus . It not that much to pass but questions standard is one of key features of this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a great interest in doing chemical experiment.So it's obvious yo chose this subject. Chemistry department has lot of specialized faculty and they all have impressive qualifications.Above all they were very helpful and supportive.We got lot of helps from them. Teacher and student ratio was approximately 1:45.I have my three year course and there were 6 papers to qualify.Two papers in one year span. Its quite tough to pass every papers because question papers were really standard and there was no way to cheat in the exam hall. We had to go other colleges to give yerly exams.

I love my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love biology so i took this subject. In zoology department there are 32 students in my batch , approximately 100 students in our whole zoology department. Teacher are so good..they are too Frank with us. We love them. There are 6 semester in 3 years. Exam questions is very knowledgeable. It is not difficult to pass if one study hard.

Heramba Chandra College Is A Prestigious College Of South Kolkata And Is Located In Gariahat Road Kankulia Near Ballygunge . I Am Admitted In This Colleg For Bcom Hons In Accounting And Finance . I Applied In Many Colleges In The Admission Round Of Wbcap.In Which Was Introduced By The Govt. Of West Bengal For The Very 1St Ime In 2024 And I Got Chance In Many Colleges Which Includes : 1) City College Of Commerce And Business Administration . Kolkata 2)Acahrya Jagdish Chandra Bose College . Kolkata 3)Kalyani Mahavidyalay , Kalyani 4)Seth Anadram Jaipuria College , Kolkata In All This Colleges I Got Confirmed Admission In Seth Anandram Jaipuria College But In My Preference Heramba Chandra College Was The Best Accordin To Me . Our college is one of the best colleges here, that's why I got admitted here. To get admitted here, you need at least 75% marks or even 70%, but then you will get a chance in the 2nd list if you take honors in any subject. My experience of getting admitted here is very good.
