Faculties are very helpful and knowledgeable
Fees concession for needful students so that they can continue study
Tally and GST course with very minimal amount

Dislikes

Toilet is very dirty . I always avoid goind toilet
Does not have a organised placement cell
Playground is very small and not playable

Course Curriculum Overview

B com course is very underrated but I think if anyone upgrade themselves B.com has a great potential . This college supports you not only in university curriculum but they also supports you to be industry ready. The college takes internal exam before semesters difficulty of that exam is medium.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid approx 7000 per year for 3 years . The course is very affordable and value for money . Also there is a university examination fees which is as per university somewhere around rs 600.The college is very supportive regarding fees .

Campus Life

The college has not so big campus the playground is very small . But the college organises annual events like hemfluence , aura . Classrooms are big also common room is there for spending time when classes are off. The college has cheap canteen the food is acceptable. The college run social campaigns. The toilets are not clean

Admission

I did not applied in many colleges . I have applied in just 2 colleges Dinabandhu Andrews College and Heramba Chandra college. I chose this college because this college is very popular in South Kolkata specially for B.com . Anyone who wants to study in heramba Chandra college needs to score above 80% for general candidates and above 70% for reservation qouta. After applying merit list will be published if your name stands there you will be called for document verification after verification fees submission and done .

Faculty

The college is very popular in South Kolkata and many students takes admission in this college specially for B com because it has a great faculty for commerce . The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable also they are very supportive. The college takes internal exam level of the exam is medium to hard means you have to study if you want to pass. The course curriculum is as per calcutta university.

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

Umesh Chandra is not a good college don't take admission there very poor infrastructure

I choose the four BCom Honours in accountancy and Finance because I grew up in a Commerce background household and all my family members are BCom graduate and I want to be an investment banker with SAP schedule on my degree that is why I choose this code and talk about the faculty student ratio the faculty was good according to the number of students present in the class and in the college the qualification for the faculty is very good teachers are very nice and friendly but I don't get to understand what this week due to me not knowing Bengali so called language barrier was present exams and all were followed by the Calcutta University curriculum in 75 is to 25 ratio 75 marks paper from CU and 25 marks from the college itself 5 marks for attendance 10 marks for internal written test and 10 marks for MCQ

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

I Applied In Many Colleges In The Admission Round Of Wbcap.In Which Was Introduced By The Govt. Of West Bengal For The Very 1St Ime In 2024 And I Got Chance In Many Colleges Which Includes : 1) City College Of Commerce And Business Administration . Kolkata 2)Acahrya Jagdish Chandra Bose College . Our college is one of the best colleges here, that's why I got admitted here.
