Course Curriculum Overview

5

Except 1st year all the Curriculums are well structured everything will prepare us for real-world But in 1st yr we have courses like evs, biology. I think we will rarely use those topics. And also after 4yr we will forgot these topics

Placement Experience

5

Our college provides campus placement. And it is too good our overall average package is 14.57 lpa and highest package is 1.2crpa and median package is 11.8 lpa . Average, median and highest package in cse is 21.6 lpa, 20 lpa , 83.6 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tuition fees is 62500, admission fees is 2500, other fees 2000, medical fee 2000, hostel rent 5000, caution money 10000, emergency fund 12500, mess fee 30000, hall establishment fee 5000 These are fees per semester except admission fees. That is one time fees Whose annual family income 1-5 lakh will have to pay 1/3rd of tuition fee. And usder 1 lakh will not pay any tuition fee

Campus Life

5

Overall experience was good . A huge number of clubs are here. We enjoyed all three fests hosted by top three clubs. Infrastructures are well maintained. There is a huge library where we can get any book. The maintenance of this huge campus is really appreciating

Hostel Facilities

5

There is rarely any issues arised by hostel coordinator. The only thing is we are restricted to use electronic devices under 200W and the mess food are rarely good. But the washrooms are sanitised everyday.

Admission

I personally chose this college because it is near to my home-city also other colleges which I was getting have lower nirf ranking than our college. If I have to compare in the parameter of Curriculum, faculty, and hostel life but I have no experience of other colleges. I got my admission through jee mains rank.

Faculty

5

All teacher are highly educated but some teachers are not interested in teaching. All other professors have their unique teaching style everyone are best in their fields. Course structure is also outdated need to be raformed. And the marking scheme is in cgpa but CGs are calculated in absolute manner like if you are having 100-90 marks then you'll get 10 cg in that Course

Night Life

5

It's too good there are 2 hotels near campus and inside campus . Also there is no restrictions only we have to give our biometric while going outside campus. And girls are not allowed to go outside campus after 10 pm.

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
