SAFI is one of the best college in kerala

I was very passionate about biology and existence of life that's one of the reason i chose this course as my UG studies. Course curriculum covers all main subjects including three complementary subjects as bioinformatics, Biochemistry and biostatistics Most of the concepts were theoretical compare to real world application hence covered basics and few high level conceptual of the course.

Projects are carried out within the college for some UG and PG programme students without stipends. However if any one wish to do their Internship in any company or industry are aided with applied conditions and accepted by the college. Within the college teachers are very helpful during the project course of completion. All labs are very clean and have enough space and are equipped with required materials.

I really enjoyed the campus life by participating in extra curricular activities and annual function run by the management party. The most awaited functional day is 'Paraplegia' programme conducted annually in the month of December before Christmas holidays mainly kept for the disabled (handicapped)people. Secondly is the annual day and Kalolsavam(inter college fest)

Hostel fees may vary for each month depending on no.of holidays. Fees can be paid for 3 months at once if any one doesn't want to pay full academic year. For 2 seater room rent fee/m:1200 for 4 seater room rent fee/m:950 This fee structure is in 2017 now the fees increased by approx 20%. Total rooms were approx 240 for girls hostel and approx 150 rooms for boy hostel. Two seater room(double deck beds) are attached with bathroom and four seater room has common (approx 8 bathrooms and 8 toilets) each in every 3 floors of four seater rooms with a rectangular corridors. 2 seaters are located under ground sideway of 3 lower floors with a straight way corridors with 2 stares one for fire exist. All rooms are facilitated with 2 common cupboards for sharing in 4 seater rooms and 1 common cupboard in 2 seater room. single bed with chair and a table for each student. Single mess and a study hall in both the hostel.

As i mentioned earlier i got admission through online seat allotment by Lakshadweep Education Administration on the basis of Merit rank list for plus two passed students. SAFI college was my first option chosen for seat allotment because i wanted to enjoy college life like my cousin who also pass out from the same college. I haven't or neither applied to any other college as i got this college in the 1st phase of allotment My admission process was hassle free as i got a seat reservation at the earliest and process went smooth and completed within a short time

All of the faculties are expert's in their own subjects. Most of them are very friendly and embracing but at the same time they are very serious with the studies. One can reach out to them at any time asking help for studies or medical issues

For hostel girls there is no night out as the management is very strict about timing. College, library and cafeteria will be closed after 5.30pm. Girls have no permission to go out of the campus gate after 5.30pm and hostel gate will be closed by 6.pm. Only permission will be granted for medical emergencies
