- Social life is good there have been several events for students to enjoy like college day, arts day, concerts etc.
- We had a football ground, basketball court, badminton court and cricket ground. There also has been sports day and college team for several sports
Dislikes
- The course curriculum is too bad, it's almost 10 year old curriculum, you won't get any necessary skill for the industry if you choose this course
- Even though the faculties are friendly they are bad at teaching and I don't think any of them qualify for the job. most of them are under experienced.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you are looking to get skilled in programming field please chose other colleges this is not for you, you'll get nothing out of this course, but if you allready know things and want a degree and want enjoy college life it's for you. The curriculum is very old and very basic, they'll teach you almost every programming language but everything is bare basic.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fee - 37,500 (i.e, 18,750 per semester) Admission fee - 2000 caution deposit - 2000 (refundable) PTA fee - 1435 And exam fee for each semester, it vary from semester to semester. As this is a self financing college students can't get many scholarships, the only one I get know which can be applied is the post matric scholarship from NSP and this can be only availed if you get admission through merit. This scholarship will give you ?6000 per year.
Campus Life
We had several events held inside the campus, every year there will be a college day, an arts day and sports day. Besides that there's also department fests which is conducted independently by respective departments which everyone can participate. There's also freshers day at the beginning of every academic year.
Admission
I didn't knew any other colleges near my home town which provides this course that's the reason I chose this college. After joining the college i came to know 2 or 3 colleges providing the same course but they were all under the same university as mine so it doesn't make any difference. At the time of my admission the cut-off percentage was 70%, it might have changed.
Faculty
The course is 3 years with 6 semesters, having exams after every 5-6 months. The course itself is pretty easy as it is old and outdated if you are have a little bit intelligent you can easily crack exams. But still too many students have been failing. The faculty-student relationship is good, they are very friendly and close to each student. But there are some issues among the faculties, some of them have some jeolusy issues to someone.
Interview Experience
The admission process was pretty simple, atleast at my time i applied through their website and after days I got a call saying that I got the admission and I should go to the college to lock the admission.
Night Life
After classes most of the students hangout in the garden areas and several areas of the campus. There are several spots for students to sit and relax. there's a cafeteria inside the campus. And you can use the sports equipments and gym inside the campus after classes. I haven't been there many times at the night only hostelers will be in the campus at night, most of day scholars will leave after dawn.
