My review about safi

Likes

It has a very good space and livelier look
It has very hygiene and good cleaniness all around
Students had freedom of speech and was not like school very interactove

Dislikes

The teachers are of low caliber comparing to other college
The teachers were clumsy and lazy regarding finishing portions
There is daily clash between seniors and juniors

I was already interested in computer science class and was already a self trainer but the tutors were underwheming in terms of teaching we woukd have to self study to pass sem exam i d say they need more experience d teachers

I'm very glad to decide this college for my professional course

Likes

The teaching method was good.We can understand easily and they provide a good mentorship.
I like faculties they provided.Good classrooms and good atmosphere
Lab classes are very good and the mentors was too amazing.library are also provided a good reading times

Dislikes

Want more programs like college programs the programs are too boring
Tanning need more trees in campus otherwise we get tanned

Placement Experience:

6th semester can be eligible for campus placements I don't know about all because I'm a first year student so I don't know lot's of information about that.They give placements and scholarship.They give internship

My life at safi

Likes

The ambience of the college is so good.every corners are eco friendly.
Lab facility provided by college is so good.which enhances our study purpose.
Library is so diverse which has enough books for refering and other purposes.

Dislikes

hostel food is not that much good.poor quality food is provided
Programmes conducted by the union is comparatively less.

I choose this course for getting a better future.this college provided enough education about my course.Teaching methods are perfect.they make sure that every one is studying and they gives equal importance for education.

If you have good friends circle everything is good

Likes

Faculties were good ;They give proper guidance and cover exam oriented portion lyk competitive exam , Interviews and all
Digital Liberary and books and magazine Library were available and it's very good
Canteen and campus were well maintained and canteen foods were healthy and too hygienic

Dislikes

Management is very strict and they never ever think about generation gaps so they follow 90's rule

In my personal opinion, our faculties were supportive for curriculum activities but improve as much as you can..it's helpful for students to achieve Czone and Interzone competition because students need to improve both part .

SAFI is one of the best college in kerala

Likes

Main building pyramid corridor is the place that i love to spend time with friends and meeting new people of other departments
College Infrastructure is so good with garden of heaven surrounded by nature's most idyllic scenery
Location of the college feels like up in the clouds as it is situated in the highest area of Vazhayoor and the view from the college is insan

Dislikes

Medical facility is not available within the campus but located 3-4 kms away from the campus
Faculties are average but some of them are excellent in every way
Campus placements are not assured by the management

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very passionate about biology and existence of life that's one of the reason i chose this course as my UG studies. Course curriculum covers all main subjects including three complementary subjects as bioinformatics, Biochemistry and biostatistics Most of the concepts were theoretical compare to real world application hence covered basics and few high level conceptual of the course.

If you are looking for developing skills don't choose this, but college life is fine

Likes

The campus and it's infrastructure is good. There's 3 blocks and a seperate block for library and the computer lab is also good there's plenty of computer and students can use it any time.
Social life is good there have been several events for students to enjoy like college day, arts day, concerts etc.
We had a football ground, basketball court, badminton court and cricket ground. There also has been sports day and college team for several sports

Dislikes

The course curriculum is too bad, it's almost 10 year old curriculum, you won't get any necessary skill for the industry if you choose this course
Even though the faculties are friendly they are bad at teaching and I don't think any of them qualify for the job. most of them are under experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are looking to get skilled in programming field please chose other colleges this is not for you, you'll get nothing out of this course, but if you allready know things and want a degree and want enjoy college life it's for you. The curriculum is very old and very basic, they'll teach you almost every programming language but everything is bare basic.

The Magnificent SAFI Institute of Advanced Study

Likes

Safi institute has the best infrastructure.
it has very supportive faculties and staffs.
it has the best climate experiences. it is quite peaceful.

Dislikes

there is no such facilities for sports. college isnt giving much effort to improvise the sports areas.
Arts in this is also not that great. People goes to higher level of competitions only with their own efforts,
it is far from the city. so you have travel a lot to reach the town.

Placement Experience:

SAFI institute has a special section for placement. There is special placement cell in our college. So the students can approach the placement cell of Safi Institue of advanced Study to participate in the campus recruitment process.

Most about SAFI College

Likes

Campus is so nice, consists of gardens, gym, nice food court, sports courts, indoor game courts etc
Faculties are not so old, they’re young with nice experience and expertise in their subjects. Also interactive and friendly.
Many workshops, trainings etc are conducted every month in our college.

Dislikes

The transportation to that area is little difficult because there aren’t any buses reaching to the campus gate. Buses are reachable upto nearby town that also not everytime.
The placement cell is active in our college but i personally feel that it should be better.
This year, i don’t know what is the problem, many faculties from different departments have been resigning from there. Maybe they’re facing salary issues, but this affects students and teachers bond. It may take time to mingle with new faculties.

Campus placement is there in our college but not so active and the packages aren't so nice . Nice companies should come to the college and improve the placement cell. i don't know which all companies visited in detail. the package i heard is 8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of placement is also low like 5-10% only. I'm planning to do MCA after doing 1 year or 6 months internship . I want to pursue the masters and look at future opportunities.

Likes

College campus and atmosphere is very good it's really something 💯
Faculties are very friendly and good at teaching
Moreover social services are done through so many clubs like NSS NCC etc

Dislikes

2:1 is ratio of girl to boys in every department.
Food provided in hostel is average bt some are worst.

I selected this course because of my passion to study abt food technology. After completing the courses we get to know more about the food preservation and to keep good quality foods. PDFs of each an every subjects is provided soo it's easy to study
