Course Curriculum Overview
Calicut university has introduced the new four year undergraduate program. So the syllabus and curriculum have changed. The syllabus has become more uptodate and the faculties are using the digital technologies to ensure quality education.
Internships Opportunities
For the new four year undergraduate program started by the Calicut University, there are a lot of internship options. Our advisor has told us that, we will have an intership during the vacation time after the second semester.
Placement Experience
SAFI institute has a special section for placement. There is special placement cell in our college. So the students can approach the placement cell of Safi Institue of advanced Study to participate in the campus recruitment process.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay 42000 rs per year as tuition fee. 2000 as caution deposit. 500 as registration fees. 6000 per month for hostel fees. 4000 as hostel caution deposit. The fees you needed for completing the course is 126000 as tuition fees. 180000 for hostel fees.
Campus Life
Safi Institute of Advanced Study situated at Vazhayur has one of the best infrastructue among the colleges in South India. The students of Safi can experience the best campus life and social life of their age. NAAC has accredited the Safi Institute of Advanced Study with A++. It is an Autonomous college now.
Hostel Facilities
Mens Hostel facilities are great. We have to pay 5700 to 6000 rupees per month to stay in the hostel. Fees depend on the type of room that you choose. The warden is very friendly and hostel life with our friends is exceptional.
Admission
Like I said earlier, SAFI Institute has a different aim. It has a different goal. And also it is working like a non-profit organization. The management does not accept any donation to take admission through management quota.
Faculty
Each class has a mentor and an advisor. Each class contains students from 25 to 70. There are 15 departments in the college. Most of the faculties are really good. And some of them are not that great. Faculties are very friendly. Safi institute has a vision and aim. They want to mould a student with leadership quality. They want to make their students best leaders. The management supports every programs that benefits the students.
Night Life
The Principal, Vice-Principal, and the Management do not allow the students to experience the night life. It so sad to say. Many of the students wants to experience it, but the management does not allow to experience it.
