I have been dreaming to take up career in lifescience since 8th standard. And microbiology seemed to be fascinating and new to me. And that's why I took up this course. I this college, I did bachelor's in Biochemistry and Industrial Microbiology. The course and it's syllabus is not that difficult, but for me biochemistry was a bit hard compared to Microbiology, as the subject was more of theory than practical. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram. Exams are not that tough.

Per semester fees was 19,500. Other than merit list, if you want to book seat in the college, extra donation fees will be charged. There is NCC and other clubs for eg: environment club, etc. There is no hostel facility.

There is a college day and women's day. There will be celebrations for other occasions too. There are lab set ups for lifescience and other courses. If we need to take up languages, that's also there. There is a library which is one of the best place for me. You get previous year question papers and all types of books to read (subject related as well as other books). There are political groups in college. There is NCC and other clubs including environmental club.

I chose this college as it was in my hometown, Thiruvananthapuram. I did apply in other colleges, but before all of them I got merit seat here. I dint get rejected from other colleges, but I got confirmed merit admission in National College. There are 2 types of seats. One for merit and the other for non-merit that's with the donation. I got into merit seat, so the fees was less compared to the other category. This college is a private institution. During my admission, the cut off score was 70%.

Faculties are very helpful and friendly. They are very much strict about scores and the students at this college won't be able to get involved in extra - curricular activities. Question papers for final examination is prepared by Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram.

There is a canteen where you get one of the best biriyani. There is a ground. There is no hostel facility, but you can find PGs nearby the college. The college is near Attukal temple. It's not so safe for roaming around at night.
